Round 2 (Hawthorn Away) Ticketing and Other Discussion

Lol at Victorians only just downloading the app. Has your government down there only just rolled out the app?

In Canberra and NSW the equivalent apps have been in use for months and are a condition of entry to almost everywhere. we’ve had the equivalent app since September last year. Even my 79 year old dad has it and uses it daily.
We use it for sporting events, go to clubs, cafes etc. works great!

Works a treat

Just remember to always check out when you leave that particular establishment. If you don't they will class you as still being there and if there is a COVID infection you get caught up in the stay at home order even if you were well gone by the time the infected person went into that establishment

I just get the line 'You have not yet purchased or received tickets for any Richmond events'

They won't appear in your Richmond account, only the Ticketek one. Only home games will appear on the Richmond app if you get the tickets in the ballot I believe.

An email came out today referring to success in the ballot for round 3. It also said the tickets will be in your Richmond account next week. They aren't there yet and the above is the message you get if you log into your Richmond account today.

So, we gotta tap on and tap off everywhere we go now? yep, Govt definitely wants to know what colour undies I'm wearing n how often I'm changing them.

Booked tix for me and the young un... costly, but don’t want to have another zero attended year

Don't know why the big bad Government would want to know what colour undies you wear. Everyone could just tell them yellow and black boxers

Useless farkin digitator crap.
Would hate to be behind the pace at a busy Fri night game. Gotta stand around in the crowd ten metres from the bag check n scan your Q code then type in your name n phone number n then approve storing your details in the app for next time. Then bag check, then ticket scan n the farkin useless thing wont scan in, so get to push across a dozen rows of people all trying to get in. Then queue up again at the supervisor gate n get lectured to have a white back ground for easier scanning while they manually enter your twenty digit ticket number.

*smile* *smile* technology, woulda been easier to print a ticket to a bit of bog paper n scan in with that.

Was anyone checked that they did scan in? I did scan but for all they knew, I could have just been pointing my phone at the scan code and pretend

No standing room this week, managed a few minutes at four different places before being moved on each time, despite being the only one there.

I saw a few people who looked like they were getting away with standing, but the queues for the food and drink would have hidden the fact there were people watching from the standing room.

Bit ridiculous when we have up to 75% capacity (well, up to as that wasn't going to happen at a Hawthorn home game) and crowded food and drink outlets.

I did print my ticket, smooth entry. Print - it is compelling technology.

I didn't scan, I figure they have my identity from purchasing the ticket. No-one was checking.

Went upstairs and squeezed into a seat beside Rosie from the AC/DC song. If she has the virus, I now have it. Hypocrisy writ large.
