Already at his third club at the age of 22. Some sort of record?
He will be 23 (at least) by the time he plays a game for Geelong.
Played for third club < 24yo. Not common now.

Great to see Stengle resurrecting his career, just a shame he did it down the cattery.

Some interesting names on that list above. A few Tigers amongst them. Also a guy that won a Brownlow at his 3rd club.

I always thought it was a mistake to get rid of him, but we couldn't envision losing Buts and Higgins.
Don't think he'd be still playing if he stayed at the Tigers. He was a lost cause and it's taken him 4 years and 3 clubs to realise what's required at AFL level. Has always been a talent but I remember all the talk was about whether we should keep Bolton or Stengle. I think we made the right choice.

Have a look a Bulter and Higgins now.
Bulter is close to delist material and Higgins isn't any good.
Let's see where Stengle is next year and the year after that.

Stengle played a game or 2 for us in 2017 when we played 3 or 4 small fwds and have won 3 flags. He was behind those 3 and then we drafted Higgins. I can't believe Adelaide offered him a contract. Dusty and Lynch contracts squeeze every other player. it sounds like things are going well for stengle, Eddie Betts down there and grigg. Good luck to him. We had chances to win the game but couldn't take them.
