But in an electorate you have a spread of voters across the spectrum. Do they listen to those who didn’t vote for them? How do they reconcile the wide range of voters that still exist even in a teals electorate? I don't live in an electorate with a teal candidate but we did have a voices of candidate but not one who attracted Holmes a courts largesse.

We have a secret ballot, they don't know who voted for them.

I do live in an electorate with an independent, Goldstein, and all I can say is that Zoe Daniel has been far more visible than Tim Wilson ever was. In fact, we wondered if he actually existed before the 2022 election. This electorate was taken for granted by the Libs, the ALP does the same in their safe seats.

The only time I contacted Daniel I got a considered reply quickly. I figure I would have got a form letter back if I ever tried to contact Wilson.

The Libs really need to heed the message that the Teals have given them. There are talented women in the Liberal Party but they insist on promoting pathetic male candidates. Many of the Teals are just the sort who should be their leading candidates but they are too sexist to pre-select them. They are getting what they deserve.
