Well I got that wrong, no Cryin Miers in the AA squad.

Reckon they are in a really similar position to us but they just don’t know it yet. Their core stars have aged out, key forwards on their last legs with no replacements in sight and their much vaunted youth are mediocre at best. Sure, they’ve still got some decent players but nothing that’s going to seriously compete without some significant reinforcements.

Be interesting watching what they do from here.
Agree 100%. Parish and Smith could change that.

Just like Hopper and Taranto right?

Like us, the incoming talent won’t be enough to offset the decline in output from their aging stars. Again like us, they need a serious injection of quality youth to supplement their list.

The wankers will probavly get more games at Kitty Litter Park with an easier draw.

If they do then they'll be every chance to sneak back in the lower half of the 8 next year especially if they get Williams and Parish.

Next year for the Cats is their RFC 2023, the ultimate last dice roll as the Tigers tried this year.

Menegola, Guthrie and Duncan are all ageing now too, not just Tuohey, Hawkins and Dangerflop.

And Mengelola is leaving too.

Every other player in the squad must be Pele,Maradonna and Ronaldo rolled into one to be able to keep Crying out. Wankley must be in a foetal position atm :))
No Myers in the AA squad and Sonsie appeal being dismissed, hasn't been a good 24 hours for Wankely.

Age catches up on any team and it took a little longer for the Cats but got there in the end hence no finals footy after last year. Sort of followed our trajectory. If they stay in the doldrums a few seasons during rebuild I will be quite happy with that.

Hun saying Andrew Mackie will target a first rounder for Esava Ratagulea. Sav has played 75 games over 6 seasons (ave 12.5 games a season) , played 16 this season and was dropped to the VFL. Should that get you a first rounder?

As shitt footballer Mackie was, he is even worse as a list manager.
Ratonmygear is delist quality.
Clubs think they can turn Ratonmygear into the next Alir Alir. Alir Alir reads the play and has good hands. Ratonmygear has no idea.
If Ratonmygear is worth a 1st rounder the game is in a very worrying period & won't watch any of the trade period crap this year.

If he is getting a $5m contract as reported it will go close. Crazy.

Only way you get a first for that is via free agency and the AFL with their BS formula give you one.
