If we beat Melbourne We are 4-2 after 6 which will be Hardwick third best start to a season.

I think melbourne is a danger game , they will be coping crap in the media the next few days , they should have a backs to the wall mentality, plus collectively their club has a dislike for us that isn’t quite there with us towards them as much .they quite often save their best for us ,
We should win , but let’s not take this one for granted .

Last 4 times we’ve missed finals from 4-2 from 6 was 2005, 2003, 1985, 1981.
I only researched back to 1980.
But in that time we’ve made finals
80, 82, 95, 01, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18
So at 4-2 or better we’ve made finals 9 out of 13 times since the seventies.

I hate to ladder gaze at r6 but I’ll just mention that there could be a 4 point gap between 8th and 9 th after this round.

We’ve got an extra three day recovery at home.

Beaten everyone but 3 teams (Port suns & WCE)
(Because they haven’t visited us during that time)
We’ve beaten port & suns away.
Since winning the flag we’ve beaten everyone but GWS (L*L*) and WCE (L*)
