A big part of World Of Sport too, apart from being a Pies supporter he was a good man.

I thought he was a Tiger.
Mind you, I live in WA so I am basing that on one interview from a fair few years ago now.

Gerald Tanner, was Richmond’s oldest living past player, passed away on January 10 aged 100.
Was the third known Richmond player to live to 100.
A country footy star, he played 1 game for the Tigers in 1941, aged 19.
Edit: Reading the article on him on the RFC website, one of his sons, Xavier, played in the Kangaroos 1977 flag

Bat Out Of Hell was a great album back in my younger days. Sadly he’ll be remembered by most for his Grand Final “entertainment”. RIP.
