Laff, we generally have the same views, but your comments about Fleming and Zantuck are way off the mark.
Fleming has limited talent, but he at least has a go. We can both name players who do not. If the "passengers" we carry every week put in as much, we would probably perform better.
As for Zantuck, he has been a revelation. None of us would have considered him a prospect two years ago, now he is every bit as important and reliable as say Andy Kellaway. He also brings to the team what we have lacked for a long, long time, that is an intimidating presence. I know he has some way to go, but he reminds me of Micky Malthouse, a player who plays to his limited abilities, does a job and provide the fear factor into the opposition. He also backs that up with action, occasionally he makes a mistake.
In another thread some are mentioning that we should trade him. Why would you trade(break up) a member of our defence, that has clearly and under extreme pressure, performed above expectations?
If this were to happen, it would IMO be a typical (of the last decade) RFC mistake.
