Interesting that some players and not others, from the trials last week, have been omitted from this week's rounds. At a glance, some names missing are:
NBR - Grigg, SD - Warnock, WJ - Houli, NK - Jackson & NLynch, BP - Selwood, CC - Wall, MB - Looby & Carlile, ER - Kelleher, Hayes, Spangher & Hocking, GP - Fraser & West, GF - Wormald & Stanley, DS -  Bentley, OC - Nahas, Thomas, Dowler & Murphy. There are probably more that I haven't noticed, but I would guess that this group, amongst others, would be having another trial or practice this weekend, before the championships the week after.

Great to see Brad Horazcko shove it right up the Vic Metro selectors arses. He played well over the full trial 2 wkds ago, but was left out at the extra trial this last weekend. As said last week, I like Brad's football and reckon he'd be a great pickup for us. Great to see a young kid shove it right up the selector's arses.

I did notice that, and was pleased for you. Fortunately/unfortunately my son had another cricket academy session for 3 hours on Saturday and that wiped me from watching the game. His stats should be available either tomorrow or Wednesday. At this stage all I can tell you is that he wore no.31 and kicked 2 goals.

Phantom, Marcovic and De Mascio? Thoughts?
And McGuane.... related? In what way?

Marcovic is interesting.
I watched him a fair bit in the trial game.
He took some really good marks around the ground, but was beaten fairly soundly in the centre bounces. Dickson was forced to summon Horazcko into the centre bounces to get some drive. He may not look like McKee, but his style reminded me much of him. Again good marks around the ground, not flash at centre bounces.

Also said, I really like Brad Horazcko. I think he'll develop into a really good CHB/CHF/FF.

De Mascio. Haven't seen such of him. His stats indicate that he started the season with a bang, slacked off for a few rounds and is now finding his feet again. Need more time to make a decision on him.

PS, for MB & Lutt,
Varsamakis, 10K, 6HB, 5HBR, 4M, 1T, 2Gls
A good start. Hope he continues his improvement.

Young McGuane probably had the game of the round:

Jacob McGuane (CHF, RU, VC) No.35; 4gls; 5bhds; BOG; 20EK; 13HB; 17Mks; 1T; 1FF; 3HOs.

Looks like he just needs straighten up his kicking for goal, just a bit.

Just looking, again, through the stats and noticed that Shane Neaves has resumed with Calder.

2 K, 7 Hb, 16 HO, 0 Gls - hardly startling stats.

Interesting.
Not sure, but the Vic Metro selectors may be desperate enough to add him as a last minute inclusion for this weekend.

Phantom,

Nick Lynch... your thoughts? Very talented cricketer as wel. Saw him at senior DVFl level very impressive, very very impressive. Kicked 70 odd out of FP for Macleod in Divi 2.

I can't say for certain but I think that he might get a gig at the carnival for Vic Metro, so everyone will get a chance to see him.

So many candidates, so few draft choices. ???
