Welcome Liam Baker

With edwards and prestia missing we are 1 quality mid short even with Shai stepping up. With houli short and markov in the backline, baker to the midfield could be a masterstroke move. He's just so good in a contest and mops up any spillage as well as anyone. Do it dimma

Worth a crack. We'd miss his ability to win the ball back though.

Each game I continue to extol his values to the team.
Nothing seems to phase him, is an assured handler of the ball and displays immense courage in some of the things he does on the field.
Is a ripper player having a cracking season.
Becoming one of my real favourites.

The ‘smiling assassin’ is sooo clean with the ball running at full pace.

Fast becoming one of my favourites at the top of the tree as when you see Baker going for the ball you are confidence in his disposal & decision making.

Freakish one touch skills.... he’s a rare beast... I’ll admit, I was a doubter due to physical size early doors.... very happy to be very wrong

Same here, waiting. Bakes inspires confidence.
Just no nonsense about the man.

When Baker was rookie drafted, I couldn’t believe we chose another midget from way out west, with no exposed form, who wasn’t particularly quick and didn’t look particularly athletic.
When pressed for a rationalisation, Matty Clarke said he was simply the best available and too good to pass up regardless of needs.
In Matty Clarke we trust.

This guy is inspirational. Unbelievably clean hands and his decision making is a treat to watch. Great player.

Really impressive and consistent performer. Never overawed by the occasion. I like the idea of him moving into the midfield.

Still a rookie i think, understand the Covid situation and AFL being unprofessionally slow in advising list sizes and TPP for 2021 however this guy needs to be upgraded and put on a 3-4 year contract ASAP..

Another brilliant game.

This guy is as much an A grader as any of our A graders. If he played mid, and got the ball 20 times, we'd never lose a game.
