Needs to go back to basics. In regards to football and life. Cotch needs to take him under his wing and simplify things for him off the field.

On the field, he just needs to be that person that pressures and tackles. The rest will come. Problem is Daniel tries to do the other stuff that will come first, forgetting what made him a dangerous player.

Crossroads for me. Up to him to get back on track.
 
I wonder if that injury in the 2017 GF took something away from him ,

From that moment forward has looked not as fleet footed in the way he moves

How Bolton was dropped, and Rioli recalled after one week in the twos is a bigger mystery than the Epstein 'suicide'.

He is not trying. You can’t play that badly if you’re having a go. Needs to be dropped immediately. Not sure how he comes back in either. Plenty can play his role and all of them would try.

Not desperate, and not capable of putting in the pressure required for our game plan. Back out of the team for mine.

Is playing meek footy, and that is not Rioli footy.

Could it just be that Dan is another that lost the focus and hunger for this season amid the BS and has struggled to get it back.
