Welcome to the Tigers Nathan Broad

The thing is he is big , must be 6 3, fast , plays very tight and is all elbows and knees.
Would be horrible to be on .
He is also fully committed and hard at it, so will hurt you.

Love me some Broady. Perfect balance of aggressive defence and offence. Decent kick. Important to our defence

Just ask @taztiger4 , Broady's always been my man ;) :sarcasm.
Hands up, it has taken me a loooooong! time to come around to his true worth.

Still have no idea why he was dropped last year.
Wonder if it was similar to KMac who was dropped to get time in a different role?
I thought Ive heard that the match committee feel the backline are too tall, so maybe its that.
Anyway glad he came back in!

I’d love to know what our recruiters saw in Broad originally to make us take him. And what role they envisaged he’d play.

He was an honest performer at WAFL level, nothing more.

I’d bet that he has surpassed everyone’s expectations.

Spot on - he is a decent kick despite an ungainly look
He almost looks like he’s kicking off his opposite foot but it works
Classic role player

I couldn't believe he was left out of the side late last year.
Pity the media don't see how good he is, but highlight duds like Houston and Byrne Jones.
I reckon Broad is a very good defender.

Cornes said last night that Houston was the best kick in the comp.
He is just a massive Fwit.
They had the balls to stay Richmond hadn't beaten anyone in the last 2 weeks, but Port have beaten the 2 teams most likely to finish 17th & 18th this year.
The Port fixture is a disgrace.
They finished top last year and they only get double up games against Stkilda & Footscary.
Why aren't we playing them at the G this year?
Compare the fixture to us,
Port away, Wc away, Freo away, Stkilda at the Telstra Dome, Brisbane away.
That's Hocking at his very best

That probably because they requested to only to play us once and not at the MCG.

We will smash them on the G in a Final.

I have Cornehole on ignore. Don't listen or watch any show he is on. Its much better that way.

I need to become mates with Jabba the Hutch so I can get paid to be a Troll all day.

My Broady has probably surpassed his own expectations. Credit to the coaching staff for turning him into an important part of three premierships and credit to him for wanting it and working hard to achieve his success. You may realise I am slightly biased!
