Read last week's VFL report. Didn't get involved enough. He played back to enable him to attack the ball and get involved. And it worked. Good, smart coaching.

They should debut him in his home State against his first club.

Will have some points to prove.

Might snag a goal or two up front.

Bauer? Real short. Can't jump. Composed. And when he hits the ball you hear it all over any VFA ground. *smile*, he's hard at it.

Try him back? Where else? He has nowhere near the athleticism to make an AFL key forward and we have the odd Gary Ablett ready to play medium forward.

Couldn't play back at hist first attempt for us? Easy to understand - either he's too important or lacks talent. Too important is the better root cause.

Looks to have a leap from Leysy's eye Jack?

In fact reckon it might be one his athletic strengths.

Am a fan, knows how to lead, is balanced and a good kick.

You'd think he'll get his chance over the next couple of months.

I expect him to be on the plane to Adelaide. Maybe not in the 22 but at least in the squad.

We'll have a booze bet on this, kids. We can figure out over the year how to measure it.

He played very well in defence and showed us he’s got a football brain. Made some smart decisions and attacked the contest with confidence.
So you are saying he played well there despite training with the forwards all pre-season....

I'm in too.

Cant do Cognac and Caviar at the London but can host Bundy and Bugs up north for anyone who doesn't see Bauer in our future
I'm willing to say Bauer cant swim just to get into the north BnB gig

Think his homestate is to the north Craigo.
He was in the swannettes academy but went undrafted so moved to the sanfl (north adelaide?) instead of playing in a local comp or the scitz vfl
