Ive been on this forum for almost 20 years and i dont how to set up a Poll.
Anyway, with the finals just around the corner ive come up with a reason/excuse why we should play them.

Brisbane. To see Fagan use stats why they shouldn't had lost again.

Port. To finally blow out the hype that goes with that useless club.

Geelong. To see Dangerfield's face knowing its never going to happen.

West Coast. The heat on Simpson will come with all the whinging and sooking. It could possibly cause another Adelaide type destruction.


The hawthorn and GWS loss has cost us a top 4 spot, unless Collingwood beats Brisbane. But i would prefer Collingwood not in the 8.
Week 1. Against GWs
Week. 2 against Brisbane
Week 3 against Geelong
Week 4 against WC

As long as we also beat Freo and Adelaide; but yes the Geelong game is now key to our top 4 chances.

Port will likely finish top. They’ll be hard to beat over there but would still rather finish 4th and play them in Adelaide than a sudden death final in 5th. Even if we lost we’d be back in QLD for the rest of the finals series; assuming GF will be in QLD.

It’s a no brainer really. Double chance every time.

I haven’t studied the total draw and the permutations,

Are we a chance for 3rd and Brisbane 2nd ?

That would be my choice if it’s possible

If we win all 3 and Eagles drop one then we’ll finish 3rd. Could even finish 2nd if Brisbane drop two.
 
A finals series isn't complete without humiliating Geelong again.

Only shame is that we won't be there to witness.

This. We go 3/3 and we're making top 4.

Also given West Coast's indifferent hub form, games against the Dogs and Saints are no gimmes for them.

Still plenty to play out before we worry about this.

Yeah is as simple as win the last 3 and finish top 4. Id really like to play WC in a GF.

We have been the best 2 sides for the last 3 years

And i like the best 2 in the GF.

But i think how the draw pans out its more likely we play port or brisbane

Yeah reckon playing the Eagles in the GF would be perfect, best 2 teams of the last 4 years.

I've just done a ladder predictor though (and have us finishing 3rd) and had us playing WC in the prelim, Geelong in the final. I suppose that would be fitting for the hattrick, 2017 beat Geelong in the EF, 2019 beat Geelong in the PF, 2020 beat Geelong in the GF?

We make the 4 if we win all our remaining games, Freo & Crows we should beat, Cats is the critical game , beat them & they'll be playing an elimination Final off the bye....
I back us in against anyone.

Not fussed to be honest our best can beat anybody we have proved that.Port don't fear me one bit.

Would love to iron out Geelong in a GF.
Just obliterate them to see Scotts face and of course the realisation dawn on Diverfield.
