They said on SEN that his kicking wasn't the best, plus looking at the draft camp results his endurance is poor.

His kicking is average but not poor.

His pace is amazing for a KPP.

His hands are very very good.

I like him a lot. Endurance will come with him.

best remaining young ruckmen at rookie pick1 sounds great. KPP all the way in the rookies.

Amazing Gourdis draft. He was so overated. I wonder how good he was in interviews?

Just looked him up on Burgans Phantom Draft. Had him going at 36. Said we were interested but he was unlikely to make it to 51 . Maybe in the rookie draft.

As I said elsewhere. No suprise he was not drafted. More to selections than online reports, stats, potential, dimensions etc.

Hopefully for his sake he will get rookied, if not only has himself to blame.

Get over him, trust me, many have.

Rumor on BF (so almost certainly false) is that he will be training with us.

why do we tolerate poor kicking in players we don't have, but abhor poor kickers that we do have?

grass is always greener, as with all draft prospects.

But still, you can't help but get excited when you see this big lump of a lad who can take a grab absolutely burn off players much smaller than him. A tad Budydish actually.

I have heard a couple of people over here in WA compare this guy to, wait for it..........

Richo.

And they are being dinkum.

prob doesnt have anywhere near the same endurance but a very nice size like a young richo and also the ability to take huge contested grabs

my consensus on Gourdis is that he is lazy around the ground. So thats probobly why he slipped ???
