If you want to to go that extra mile for the club, Rolling Tiger is best option for membership.

The Rolling Tiger option doesn't suit our personal situation. Why is it the best option RFC? Is it because of the higher retention rate? Wouldn't it be better for the club to get the $$$ in asap? That's always been the thinking behind us signing up as soon as we get the renewal notice rather than waiting till next season.

High retention rate and also you tick over the total number of members. It also allows us to start the next year with a high returning membership base.

You're right though, it's obviously not for everyone.

I got it cause it was easier for me, but I understand that it wouldn't suit everyone.

I actually thought the other way Rosy. I thought maybe the ongoing cash flow throughout the year would be better.

Regardless, I am sure the club is happy with any dollar, no matter when they get it.

Thanks RFCO. I'm surprised there aren't more using the Rolling option. It's great that those who might find it hard to find the money in one hit can still be members. I'd imagine some would even consider more expensive options when they don't need to find it all at once. I'd certainly consider it if we had a regular income but we tend to get our money in lump sums at certain times of the year.

RFCO, a bit of feedback.

Great to see the inclusion of possible 'upgrades' with my Rolling/Committed Tiger advice. My son is definately going to upgrade to the Cotchy's cubs thing, and I am seriously debating about getting a social club membership as well.

Agree. Decided to upgrade to the Social Club next year.

Does anyone know if their is a certain time of the year that new members are likely to join up?

Is it typically pre-Christmas, after Christams, right before the season, is there any trend at all?

Just wondered how we might be tracking for our target of 10,000 new members.

I reckon if the RFC said "Register your membership by xx date and we'll guarantee the membership pack arrives before Christmas", we'd get a lot more signups earlier. It'd be a great Xmas present for any Richmond supporter, as long as it arrived before Xmas....

Hard to say Streak. The past few seasons we have sold 2-3000 memberships the week leading up to Christmas. We might see a significant jump in new memberships then. I hope so 'cause it tends to die off for a while following Christmas, then kicks again leading up to the Wizz Bang and season proper. Our membership trends are fairly constant. If we are ahead in January then we might see a record fall. :)
