Agree what a bad draft choice

Townsend isn't the answer. Delist.
You should be able to delist when ever you want.
Hunt, Maric, Townsend, Morris, Hampson, Griffens, Drummond, Batchelor, Elton
Could all go now and it wouldn't make a single difference

I wouldn't bat an eyelid if all those of those named were departures from RFC come season's end ... they are not the future.

I can't see us getting rid of a quarter of the list in one go. I think Drummond, Hampson and possibly Townsend will stay. I agree though, we can do better than that whole list.

got reported on the weekend

nothing in it ......small fine at the most.................but loved his follow up tackle and then showed some care toward the poor bloke he just run through!

I thought he fair ironed out the guy. Wish he'd been in the AFL team and the opponent had been Ziebell.

Towno is worth keeping in mind, especially against a big, heavy side, like maybe Geelong. We have a lot of light young guys that could be targeted some time.

Built for finals perhaps?

my thinking knightersRevenge is Jacob primed for the back end of the year, then into the finals

doing everything that is asked of him ...........improved on last year ( just look at his stats )

only effective inside mid at the moment is Nank and cot .they will not last the year and be stuffed by the finals

he is sitting there .............just waiting ( an animal in a cage)

I think your right especially if this isn't a deep draft, I think Ballard may get a rookie spot in front of Townsend though and a smokey to stay on the list is Broad

Jacob Townsend was the pick of the midfield bunch, gathering 34 disposals while also amassing eleven clearances, eleven tackles and a goal.

dimma ....here is your man

let him lose ........................a caged animal ...............

surely against the Brisbane!!!

Ok. We need mongrel and hunger for the contest. I didn't see much of it last night. Time to see if he can doing anything at AFL level before he is thrown on the scrap heap.

Cotchin and Lambert need some help in the middle and they're not getting it from Grigg and Prestia who are mega soft in the contest. We've been getting smashed in contested ball and it's no wonder as it's been too much left to too few. Miles and Townsend in for Grigg and Prestia.

I'm with you on this, H. But although he is soft, Grigg won't go out because he appears to do well by accumulating uncontested possessions. I think we cannot carry all these SFs and DRioli needs a rest. He's really fallen away for the last month or so. But Townsend can go forward and score. Either Cal Moore or Elton, who both starred in the VFL, need to come in too. Either for Castagna or Hunt.

But we have to give a run of 3/4 games to adjust and step up, not the chop after one struggling game.

This really hurts. But this bloke can add some packbusting to our midfield.
His form in 2's has been very good.
Drop meatloaf and give him a go.
Where no chance for the flag

Even play him up forward to provide a bit of mongrel. Our smalls can chase but can any of them hurt with their tackles
