Was lucky but it was all happening for him/them. There was also a good mark on the wing around that same time. To be fair I watched most of the first quarter on the shitter at work! Perhaps l'll change my mind watching on the big screen and under less duress.
:mhihi To be fair he was okay in the first quarter but both goals were very lucky. From my memory he was virtually unsighted after quarter time.

If only we had been able to handle Collingwood first half blitz in the PF last year.

I believe we’d be about to 3-peat

20 minutes
15 minute mark 1st qtr
To about the 15 minute mark of the 2md qtr.
People forget we got to 21 points early in the last qtr.
For Lambert to drop a easy mark.
They scored 2 minutes later.
Game was over.

The decision to start Rance on Degoey was the thing that cost us.
Grimes should've started on Degoey.
Rance dropped his bundle. Got unmarked by Degoey in the goal sqaure and when he went to Cox he was down and cox just blitzed him.

Is this cheating? - When Ross had that shot for goal at the Punt Rd end, there were two WC players on the mark but the second guy was hidden from Ross's view bc he was standing directly behind the one on the mark. As Ross ran in to kick the second guy jumps out to the side surprising Ross and put him off, may have caused him to miss that shot. Not fair imo.

To be fair he got crunched by Astbury and Baker when he ran back with the flight of the ball in the first and didn’t get up for a while. Copped a corked hip and wasn’t moving well for rest of the game

I had kid commitment today so recorded the game. The Mrs doesn't like to wait for the result so she watched the last qtr live while i was half way through the 2nd qtr. She thought it was a good idea to tell my 6 year old twins we won. Of course my son was sp happy he had to come and tell me. Not happy Jan!!!!!

Anyway, I watched the game in full. I type this after 6 gin and tonics. But I've got to say, What a *smile* amazing win. So proud of the boys tonight. To come back from a *smile* 1st qtr like they did and despite the umpiring we showed so much heart against the reigning premiers.

Just need to back it up against the Lions.

Anyone go to the QLD RFC group functions at the Shafston? I Go from time to time. Heading to next week's game with a Lions fab...lol. we will be gentle with him!!

I think Darling got crunched a few times, and was proppy.

Astbury, Grimes and Vlossy were solid as a rock, as usual.

Something small but lion-hearted i’d like to point out from the game.

That car crash collision that left darling rattled for the rest of the game.

Baker, bloody hell, he just ran back into that pack with no regard for personal safety.

It was one of the more courageous things I’ve seen on the footy field this year. Hats off to you, young man.

It was tremendous. all of bakers possessions were under pressure, often extreme pressure. I love him.

Amazing when the eagles had us on the ropes in the last quarter and could have been an unjust boil-over, the team showed no nerves, just full-bore hard-at-it tiger footy.

This is not the club I knew for 39 of my 42 years! I love this team.
