Ray Chamberlain is a c..............

What is the rule with recalling a centre bounce?
About 2 mins into Q3 right after the Prestia goal that gets us within 10 points
Ray bounces and it's a bit astray (as per usual) but comes down clearly within the circle.
Nank takes possession as he's lucky enough to be on that side - but RR recalls it.
Why?

Edit: 2 mins to go in 3rd Q

With you Tenacious.
That was within the circle as you said.

Can’t wait for Chambermaids weekly slot on SEN this week.

How many will he own too and how many will he stand by ?

Will Whakey take him to task? Doubt it.

Apart from a couple of real Clangers (like the Dangerfield dive and 50 and the non-50 to lynch) at least they learned a lesson last night from the week before. There were significantly less frees paid than the Brisbane v GWS game and that made it a much better game to watch

Ray chamberlain must think nothing of crossing lakes by jumping across crocodiles

Or riding the blue barrels of Hawaii’s north shore,

Wingsuiting through the alps

Free diving the Blue hole of Qatar

Or free climbing down frozen waterfalls

Because last night what he did in front of the Richmond cheer squad was the work of a very brave man with ice in his veins.

Probably says more about me then Razor but I apologised to the Ladies in front of me as the attention seeking umpire makes my blood boil. I think his a good umpire and certainly not a cheat, however his everything you don’t want the umpires to be

Robbo reckons he and the other 2 umpires very well last night. They had the odd howler but that happens in every game.

Ray chamberlain, when hes at work as an umpire, is a *smile*.

I felt in a really safe space last night

To appraise his performance.

Its a real credit to those bays at the punt road end

To make me feel that comfortable with myself.

This oxygen thief cannot possibly get the GF gig (and I thought he had a shocker in the Brisbane game too)

At one stage, there was a stoppage in forward 50 , and this muppet was doing extravagant stretches away from the play like he was practicing a ball up! WTF!?!?

It's not about you Ray.

No of frees does not equate to a watchable contest or not. Imagine Riewoldt gets pushed in the back going for a mark 6 times, but none of them get paid as frees because it makes it less watchable. As a Tiger, you'd be seething he was treated unfairly.
So long as the free is there, and it disadvantages the player, you pay it.
The numbers just happen to be what they'll be.

He should be ruled out for that 50m penalty alone. He made the mistake. He blew the whistle and said ‘ppuuuush’ that’s it! Didn’t say which team or which player. So how did Cotchin know who to give the ball to? So to call the 50 in that situation was ridiculous. He won’t admit it though I’m sure

Razor an emergency for the GF which will be a relief for all players as you never knew what Razor was going to do next.

As *smile* as he is

And unfathomable as it is,

The narrative i will lock in my brain

Is ..... the dangerfield decision + 50 cost him the gig.

Suck *smile* chamberlain

If the umpires review the footage during post match analysis, chamberlain should feel embarrassed that he got fooled by diverfield. If he umpires on next year, I hope he keeps that in his mind everytime diverfield plays for a free and calls play on every single time.

Ablett goal in the 1st should have been overturned.
It wasn't touched but Henderson turned his back on the play and impeded Grimes.
Free kick.

Like half of Rays decisions he just anticipated where the bounce would end up.

Moreso that the perpetrator has now acknowledged he dived.

Even if the Clangerfield 50m penalty was technically correct (ball not delivered to the free kick recipient) - how on earth was Lynch not entitled to a 50m penalty when he was having a shot from about 50m out and a Geelong player clearly encroached “the area”?

That was Ryan not Chamberlain
