Draft prospects 2019

Im a little bit in on Fats Gould.

He's got serious wheels for an Augustus Gloop type build.

he threads the eye of the needle by foot, is aggressive, good over head.

Pretty unique prospect. Kind of a fast, fat Josh Caddy

I like Cooper Stephens at 19 too, but won't be upset if we took Fats

Has some Richmond man traits, cant see him lasting to our pick though, Port at 18 maybe

Gould’s testing at the combine was downright diabolical across the board, huge stay away for me.

On the other hand I’ve watched a fair bit more Jay Rantall on the NAB app.

if we keep all of our second round picks, I want this lad. Physical he moves like Luke Power. Watching him play I see a bit of Taylor Adams. He’s so good around the contest and reacts quicker than most getting to the drop, he’s got smarts. And his testing at the combine show him to be an elite endurance runner. The kicking is neat but not great but I think he is the rare example of some who can get better because he hasn’t played that much. I want him, scope for improvement is huge.

Would be surprised if some other clubs haven't enquired in relation to our 3 x picks in the late second/early 3rd round for draft points to assist with bids on players they have rights to.

He smashed the unofficial record in the AIS cafeteria by 9.5 pies though.

I’m with Scoop,Jay Rantall seems an exciting prospect.

Ex elite Basketballer so would be good in traffic with a side step, the Draft Combine affirmed he’s an endurance Beast.

Hasn’t played a lot of Footy,so huge upside if our Development guys can get their hands on him.

Find it very hard to accept that tiger royalty such as green is in a gws academy, his.grandad a multiple premiership player, and his dad a tiger u/19 player who would of played seniors if he has pursued it,into the open draft is fair, but gws academy, what *smile*.

Don’t stress. He will be a Tiger in 2 years time.

Wayne Campbell mentioned in an interview a few weeks back is that Green still walks around wearing a Richmond jumper.

Rivers does fit the Richmond mould. He's a great size. I haven't seen enough to say I'm in on him but I've seen nothing to put me off him either. Great size. Not sure he has enough flair but again that's limited viewing. I have gone back and watched two full games of Cooper. I can't express how in on him I am. He's my number one priority now.

Rivers also getting a rep as a big game player. Stands up when he has to. Freo apparently keen on him, and had thought that they could get him at 22 (which they got for Ed Langdon). But apparently GC are also keen and have two possibly opportunities to get him at 15 and 20.

East Freo have a fair old production line of mids, Patrick Cripps, Paul Haselby, Ben Cousins, Daniel Kerr, Simon Black. From someone I know, this kid is rated very highly internally at the club as well. And his entire year should be seen through the lens that he missed most of the preseason this year with I think glandular fever. They also see him as someone who could be in leadership group in 4 years.

So what you’re saying is, Rivers will be our man if he’s there at 19?
