Training

Thanks for letting us know as I have hardly been on BF. I suppose that's something, but I like Quickdraw's copyright suggestion out of interest.

I think Quickdraw's copright comment was in jest, it is really no big deal.

Went on to Big Footy for the 1st time ever and looked at their 2020 pre-season training thread and they had about 10 pages of Daniel's and Mia's break upo_O and people crying out for non existent training reports AND THEN LOW AND BEHOLD my whole training report had been copied into Big Footyo_O.
Not sure how I feel about that, would rather it stay within PRE but was a bit of a laugh to see it there:)

Anway people keep our training thread real and concentrate on the footy.

Bah, I wouldn't worry about it Caesar. Someone on Big Footy copying your work is the online equivalent of Bucks copying Dimma.

Well it would be hard for them to write their own first hand training reports Caesar with you guarding the perimeter of Punt Rd like a rabid Rottweiler protecting its young

Really disappointing for kids today, watched training and waited on fence for signatures. None of the leadership group or marquee players stepped up.... mostly the young bucks. Hats off to Soldo who came across and seemed interacted genuinely with everyone.

Thank you caeser...that's the plan to take my boy so he can meet some of his idols.

Hey Nafe, hope you and your lad got down to training today you would have been pleasantly surprised that the boys were put through their paces a bit more than usual for an open session.
Dusty caricature posters were handed out and Dusty did spend a fair time signing stuff, (usually he can't wait to get inside :) ).

Thank you Caesar we had a great morning the boys look good and my boy loved every minute of it especially when Dusty was doing his laps around the boundary

He was a battering ram.
Lead from the front.
Showed what great leadership is all about.
Best captain in the AFL.
A true Richmond Man.
I’m not sure he’ll be midfield.
might be a high forward or maybe half back. He’s not the hulk anymore. He’s lost weight and he’s pretty slim. That can only mean less bash /crash and more run.
Why?
pickett and jack Ross and maybe Collier-Dawkins.

not like the old days.
Any training session was open to whoever wanted to go.
Flea.
The General
The ghost
Would always say hello, as they would run off the ground into those old rooms under the Stand.

even under the Frawley years, he would always allow us to come in and speak to the players after training.
Ottens, Torney, Naishy and Rogers would be welcoming..

Not like now, they dont allow u in. You wait at the front to work out 90% of them have bolted out the back.
im not going to stand behind a cyclone fence like a crook watching training.

not everyone likes watching Training but when you are down there they should allow u in to watch it.

i think the 2 flags have gone to their heads and forgotten about the supporters that put up with them since 1982 to 2017.

Catch 22, those that wanted to see more training content got it , whilst those that are there basically for signatures were short changed somewhat.

What I will say is that pre-season training days have been Monday, Thursday, (main) and quite often Saturday.

Probably this close to the JLT they did not what to compromise their training schedule, (and today's session was closer to the real deal).

The last drill was Aerobic/ running component. A lot of the players, (as per usual), did not head for the car park to avoid fans, rather donned the runners and as a group went for their run in Yarra Park and beyond as their endurance component.

Anyway, can't please all the people all of the time MOST of the open training sessions and Captain's Runs throughout the year are autograph friendly.
