They're not primed to play top footy in Rd 1 - Dion and Jack said as much.

Looks like they're good enough to know when to go hard and when no to stay to bank the points.

Maturity.

A standard round 1 win.
Had the opportunity to destroy them.
Every year.
But we win flags whilst they get excited over some kid who will " save them".

Richo & Jack standing distance then they come together. Sick of this bureaucratic *smile* govts let out. Get the crowds back. This stupid idea doesn't do or prove anything.

Is going to be hard for players trying to break into the sides without any games to play in vfl comp

Last half was as bad as we've been in a long time.

Pressure was not there, at all.

Yes!

Also, who is the bloke - member of the coaching/fitness staff, 30ish, very straight ash blond hair, sort of bowl cut - who walked behind Prestia during his interview? Often see him close to Dimma in the box or down on the bench. (I’ll look for a pic.)

Yep. Over here in Adelaide the central marjet is open.
Undercover.
2000 people easily.
Touching produce.
Coughing etc.
Shithouse toilets.
One lift.
One escalator.
Yet the Footy is a lockout?
Give me a break.
Its either shut down or open.

It felt very weird watching the game with no crowd and then the boys pressure being the worst I reckon I have seen it for a long time in the second half. It almost felt like a practice match in the second half with the lack of pressure and crowd noise.

Our boys feed off our crowd more than most teams I reckon.

Beware GWS this year

Weird game. Scintillating first quarter then clearly outplayed after that. Yet still a 4 goal win. Not too bad I guess.

But overall a very un Richmond like game. Zero pressure all over the ground; destroyed at stoppages and we tackled like u/12s. Blues just stood up in tackles and dished off as they pleased. We’re fortunate that they butcher the ball so badly. Hello Paddy Dow!

We played like we did in the Marsh series. We bring that next week the Scum will kill us.

Also I reckon I saw the first signs of hubris from this playing group. It appeared to me that they didn’t respect the opposition. Fox didn’t show much of Dimma’s presser but he didn’tlook very happy.
