I'm not taking it personally I am trying to point out that you are wrong. I know 2 people at the WHO, neither of whom work in this space directly but are incredibly concerned about what funding cuts will do to their work, especially in Africa.
I have never said the WHO didn't make mistakes but if you believe there was a cover up cooked up between the WHO and the Chinese , or that the virus was created in a lab run by the WHO or that the reason we have hundreds of thousands dead is because of the WHO then you are wrong.
The WHO was under resourced for this, gun shy because of criticism they have had in the past about being too quick to be alarmist, too slow to declare a pandemic and all of that may have made a difference but at the margins only.
i have said over and over again that if we want to do better provide more resources not less. I read an article about live animal markets in Indonesia yesterday which is truly alarming but the WHO has nowhere near the resources to work on that especially with 15% + of their funding ripped away.
This whole pandemic shows that we may be nation states but our borders mean nothing to a virus, to me it's a call to arms for global cooperation and coordination not the opposite.

It's not as black and white as that. I'm just stating the WHO appears to have been compromised in its responsibilities due to its close relationship with China.

That Australia lost confidence in the WHO is abundantly clear. The government would regularly quote verbatim from the daily WHO announcements, but in the lead-up to the WHO belatedly declaring a pandemic, all of that ceased.

Nothing I just posted was racist.

I'm a big fan of Warren Mundine's views. He'd agree with me that Aboriginals are being manipulated to exist as victims. The left side of politics is effectively holding them back.

The "Left side of politics"
I strongly believe that BOTH SIDES OF Politics are holding them back & have been since Federation.

The LNP have been in power far more than The Labour party since Federation, can you tell me what have they done to advance the plight of Indigeneous people's in all that time.

I can tell you that they've done very little to be proud of in all that time.

Politics has chopped and changed many times in 120 years. I've chopped and changed political allegiances. But I agree, for much of that time it hasn't been in conservative interests to promote the fortunes of Aboriginals. There is plenty of angst to be sourced if one chooses to dwell in the past. And the right never championed eugenics.

They'd probably have handguns, and you know there'd be shooting. But US laws allow for it.
But if they had semi-automatics, if they confronted police and shouted in their faces exactly the same way the "I want a haircut NOW!" MAGA *smile* babies did a few short weeks ago, everything would be cool, right? That would be a 'peaceful' protest, and the cops would stand there copping it sweet like they did from the armed terrorist group IWAAAIWAHN (I'm White And Armed And I Want A Haircut Now).

Do you wanna buy a bridge?

Ah, so the George Floyd protesters just need to rock up to government buildings armed to the teeth with military grade semi-automatic assault rifles.
yeah been wondering why they don't when it's in their rights to do so.

Didn't see it, don't know anything about it. But if you want to antagonise the cops like that and you end up getting hurt, you asked for it.

Here they are, antagonising and all, but not a finger was laid on them

A few reasons, I'd suggest, Harold. Most of them wouldn't own such weapons, which I doubt are cheap. But also because they'd get murdered or violently arrested quick smart.

Right. Well, we've seen white MAGA babies get away with it scot-free. What do you reckon the odds of black protesters being allowed to conduct themselves the exact same way would be? 1000-1? 1,000,000-1?

Why does anyone need to provoke a confrontation? Hold your placards, chant your chants, socialise with like-minded individuals and go home. The cameras will be filming.

It's all good until the first window is smashed.

Donald Trump could have been a real leader and said "the US is pulling all funding from WHO because I think Gyna is basically Hydra from those Captain 'Merica movies and Gyna has infiltrated WHO and WHO is now bad people. So MAGA... the US will take that money and set up a New WHO. I invite other G7 nations and Australia to help fund and run New WHO, which will be accountable, transparent and continuing the good work of the old WHO but without political interference. Covfefe"

but he didn't do that. He just saved $500M to spend on something else, probably something that only benefits the US. It's clear now that the US under Trump can no longer be relied upon as the post WW2 leader of the Free World on health and most other issues. The US is now just some horrible get rich quick scheme for Trump and his kind.

Time to find a new leading democracy before the void is filled by something far far worse.

That would essentially be forming a breakaway from the UN. Not sure it's workable or cost-effective.

You're levelling all sorts of accusations at Trump while presenting zero evidence. Unfortunately this kind of groupthink is becoming popular.

Trump is not responsible for the rioting. When you can grasp that fact, we can begin conversing effectively.

Wait, what?

Where am I suggesting Trump is responsible for the rioting?? All I suggested was that a better thing for him to do, a more leader-like thing for him to do, would be to take the funding he retracted from WHO and apply it to the same purpose, but run by the US and G7. What are the "all sorts of accusations" I've levelled at Trump with zero evidence??
