dunno if I accept zero JB.

less than 5%? yeah, I'd give you a thumbs up.

but not zero.

would you're work output go unchanged for half the dough? and you're not a tightarse.

on AFL paycuts, have the AFL reduced the fines schedule by the paycut %? Surely?

didn't JR cop a grand on the week end? shouldn't it have been $500?

They have reduced the fines by 50%. It states it on all the communications from Christian. They are stating the $1000 as thats the penalty, but when they pay it they pay at a 50% covid discount so Jacks fine for the whack on Sicily was $500.

I've never been that fond of Jack. Richo was often called selfish etc but was misunderstood and was loved by 99% Of fans at the end of his career. Not the same with Jack,. his petulance has always had a more selfish basis for me.

Has been a star footballer, one of the smartest I've seen but I won't be shedding too many tears when he goes.

2 poor games for Jack where our forward 50 delivery has been abominable, and the the line to stick the boots in is around the corner and in the next suburb.

I originally thought JR was gone too.
But forced myself to watch the last half of the Hawks debacle having turnef it off during the game.
Jack played well in the last quarter and looked his old self.
I dont think he is done.
I think the horrible delivery forward is killing him.
Fix that and Jack will be back

His very short kick v Pies was an attempt to guide a very slippery ball through the goals and not give possession away with a behind.
Jack is a star and a very clever player. He is of course an individual. No crime in that....yet.

yeah, but we are socially distancing in the line

I revere our JR,

im just thinking aloud how he could be so out of touch.

I think its not outrageous to suggest he's in a short run of career worst form?

I dont doubt for a moment he will overcome and likely kick 5 in a GF

The media are *,*'#'.
3 games ago he kicked the most goals in a GF in over 10 year's.
Why aren't they after Cats like Hawkins. The bloke that was meant to be the difference in the Preliminary final or Cameron, the bloke who is asking for 1.5mill a year. Or Kennedy, who looks like he is closer to getting the pension.
Jack has the runs on the board, the rest are all ball slappers.
If jack needs a rest, we have enough back up in the two's.

To fair, their nobodies that don’t sell papers

He's 31 and unfortunately in decline. Not rocket surgery.

I think 5 goals in a premiership to 5 inconsequential touches in Rd 2,

would be the sharpest cliff ever fallen off?

Age will weary him, sure.

and I dunno if 2 bad games is officially a slump.

But he is clearly significantly out of touch/timing.

I think he can be effective and earn his pay until 2024

With respect the GF was a bit of a training run.

Jack is perhaps the smartest footballer I've seen, he is Edwards like in front of teammates at times, but there is a physical decline.

Maybe he is simply injured or sore, in 2018 he was flying but perhaps his 2019 injuries are lingering? He didn't miss many games for 11 years, and in the last couple was the sole big man, often against 2-3 opponents. That must take a physical & mental toll at some point?

Maybe the flank is his spot this year?

Most mates I know (who don't support cats or tigers) place Jack in the Dangerfield bracket.

One has won 3 Coleman's and 2 flags and the other has one individual award, the Brownlow.
Chalk and cheese

This bloke is Richmond. This bloke get us. He wants it as bad as we do.

One of my all time faves, I fear for him. I’m seeing signs I do not like.

I want to be wrong.

Saw what I saw in March. Get four this week Jack. Still want to be wrong.

Geez that's harsh. He's a gun, super smart, unselfish, makes the team decisions, sacrificed his own game for the team countless times in the last few years.

on the other hand he is a ranga so...

Love Jack but if we miss a flag this year I reckon next year will be his last and may get a roughhead type chat from dimma

The more I watch him this year, I think back to the 5th goal curling through in the GF, and Jack's finger pointed to the heavens, his football immortality was secured, and it was him standing on Everest or planting a flag on Mars. He knew nothing would ever top that moment, he'd given all he could, and no one could possibly ask or want anymore. He looks lost in the eyes out there atm, and haggard.

Entirely plausible, chuck in the Bub, chuck in a pandemic and things change. I don’t give a stuff what happens, the man is a tiger icon who loves the club as much as us yobbo’s on the other side of the fence. Forever in his debt, forever grateful, forever a Tiger.

If he doesn’t fire up for this game in particular then he is done.
Maddies match would be high on his priority list in the list of games he would want to play well in.
