This season is garbage.

Yep been watching VFL/AFL footy since the 70s. I know this sounds hyperbolic but this is easily the hardest season to watch that I’ve experienced.

Not talking about Richmond but the competition as a whole. It is horrendous the way the game is being played this year.

As far as today goes, no not exquisite, but we pretty much saw Longmire’s pitiful stake and raised it, like two leery old blokes tossing dollar coins into a smoke-filled back-cafe game of poker.

It was *smile*' disgusting and I hope the media does their job and calls it out. Nobody in their right mind expects Sydney to play finals this year. Longmire missed an opportunity to teach them how to play.

This is what's wrong with the game today. Bloody coaches have a lot to answer for with the state of the game. Forget umpiring interpretation. Something needs to change soon. Boring football will not generate viewers.

I'd like to see them further enforce the 6-6-6 with a regulation to see at least 2 players from each team remain in each 50m arc. Will stop that horrible 18 man flooding. How often to we see 36 players in one quarter of the ground? It's rubbish.

Agree on Broad. Pickett was better that quarter but his first half was rubbish.

Castagne really is killing me right now, almost as much as he kills every forward move. Lynch isn't right yet but did enough. Can't think of any good players apart from Broad, Vlastuin and Grimes.

I remember the “chip chip chip” win against Adelaide under plough many years ago and the fact that i actually hated that win, I was almost embarrassed by it.
If Sydney had won today I would hope their supporters would be embarrassed as well. That’s not the way anyone should want the game played.

On another note, I thought it was great how Chol requested 22 tickets for his family/friends to attend the game....the camera went to them on numerous occasions and they were loving it... then Chol ran over to them after the game and gave them all a wave...reckon Cholly lifted a bit because of it...maybe they should allow him to have 44 tix for next week

The last thing I want to see is the umpires having to pull some BS free for a bootlace going over the 50 metre arc. It's also not fair on the umpires who'll be crucified for the ones they call and the ones they miss.

If you want to open up the game, insist on minimum skinfolds for players. Fatties can't run as far or as fast.
