Changes for the grand final rematch v GWS

Thats old normal.

Covid footy is a different game.

Dimma says another week off anyways

So someones gotta make room for DTLD?

my membership will go straight in the breville if they drop Notorius.
If Cotch doesn’t come up, won’t they just put DTLD in for Caddy? I know different players, but they just shuffle people around to accomodate it.

Nothing in the Grimes report. However not so confident about Dusty.

Christian and Hocking make the decisions together with Hocking in charge, despite the clear conflict of interest that presents for him. (Those who believe HQ just goes along evenly without a care as to who wins and who loses have got it badly wrong).
It could go either way but he has history and HQ love GWS.
On balance I think Dusty will get a week.

So that’s Caddy and Dusty plus I think Daniel, who has been badly out of form since the resumption and shows no sign of turning it around.

Collier-Dawkins for Caddy
Stack for Dusty.
Markov for Rioli, maybe Dow but that would mean 2 debuts, and also, is Dow there?

B Baker Balta Grimes
HB Short Vlastuin Egglemosse-Smith
C Broad Bolton Castagna
HF Higgins Chol Stack, to play a defensive role on
F Collier-Dawkins* Lynch Markov*
R Soldo Pickett Lambert
I/C Graham, McIntosh, Riewoldt (just) and Stack*

Aarts on the bench.Stacky on Whitfield.

Cotch has never been a goal kicker despite tried resting forward previously

And he can't kick consistently through the big sticks. Is a terrible shot at goal. Someone like Graham would be better at that role.

One change I reckon.

Astbury in and caddy out Injured.

Astbury-Balta-Grimes to take on Cameron, Himmelberg, and Finlayson

Move Broad to the wing, he's fast and has good endurance.

Thought Castagna played well when he moved up the ground after Caddy went off.

Caddy out ... agree a bit with Astute, Astbury may come in... if he doesn't the pace of Naish or Markov ?

I would luv to see Marcov in but don't think any of the 3 smalls (fwds) will be dropped. Nash who I rate and is a genuine winger cant even make it to the emergency list so can't see him coming in.

Yeah think that’s on the money, AT.

Dusty will play. I’d give Riewoldt the rest!
In Collier-Dawkins Markov and Stack
Out Caddy Riewoldt and Rioli.
Dusty to lead.

Zero chance any of those changes happening.
You honestly think we will rest Riewoldt and drop Rioli after losing 6 premiership players?

Dimma said Dave will be ready for next week so he replaces Caddy in the 22. Who actually replaces Caddy's position is another matter. Assuming no further changes in the 22 the maybe use Broad on the wing

Dave in for Caddy would be my guess if hes fit.

Extra tall to combat Gee Whiz height up forward Himmelberg and Cameron and to allow Grimes and Broad to cover off Toby Greene if he plays.

Agree Astbury for Caddy will be about it.

RCD & Naish must be starting to wonder if they have any future with us - cant find a role with Prestia, Cotchin, Edwards, Houli, Ellis & Caddy out of contention. Thats a damning stat for where they are at

Leave Broady back and stick Balta on the wing. Bloody nightmare matchup.

Has zero attributes of a wingman and has looked promising down back. Leave him there and let him make it his own. Egg to play on the wing

Agree with Balta to stay in defence but reckon Egg needs to stay also and build on the last couple of weeks
Maybe Baker needs to move forward?
We really have one backman too many with DTL returning
