Essendon = Entitlement

As long as they keep rolling Sheedy out as a saviour they are doomed. Club cannot move forward. Fancy bringing him back to board level. No club is more lost with their identity then the Bummers. Tullamarine HQ is a soulless wasteland.

Destined to live in the footballing wastelands for at least another decade.
Desperately trying to appease their members, they've been reduced to smoke and mirror gimmicks.

I don't say Good Morning anymore, I start the day with a sincere "Sorry"
Just like the philosophical question of "If a tree falls in the forrest ........"

If a man makes a decision and his wife isn't there - is he still wrong?

I'll raise you an even more bizarre one.

How did Essendon's football manager, who had everyone even slightly responsible for anything to do with the saga as a direct report, slip quietly into Bendigo in an AFL job and never face any scrutiny at all?
Good question.

Here's another one that may assist in understanding how such things happen.

How does Gillon McLachlan become CEO of the AFL following Melbourne tanking and the Essendon PED's fiasco?

Nothing to see here. Move along.

It certainly was. Injections can now only be administered by a Dr for medical reasons.
Pretty sure I posted years ago the AFL and ASADA/WADA's prohibited methods regulations somewhere in this thread. This of course was updated.

Essendon were clearly in breach of this. The insistence on only going after one substance in their prosecution left a number of people of the mind that Essendon were scapegoated. Uh, no. No they weren't. They should have had their anus' booted properly for everything.

I love Brasher sweeping the broom. The players are the workers, doing what they are told by management.
All players can play, they don't get picked otherwise.
Development is the clubs issue.
I mean Richmond were so poor they didn't know JON was dyslexic until he went to the Eagles.
We address players issues from the start and help them.
Essendon haven't addressed the main issue, their management.
Hopefully that continues

Essendon have poached Josh Mahoney as their new football boss.

He has walked out of Melbourne today, and starts with Essendrugs on Monday.

Underwhelming appointment if you ask me.

Agree. But then Essendon is an underwhelming club.
