2020 AFL Draft

We have kept 2 spots open.
So we can get another Pickett in june next year

We get to try before you buy two Grimeses, zipper. We're real good at that method.

And next year, in a draft we are proven to rate, and one that has a formguide, we get four picks inside 40. What if Geelong crashes? We could have pick #1. :D

We have quality young players who can't get a game. We just won the flag. We have players we need to promote to the main list. We have a small bunch of older players who are on the cusp of retirement.

It is a compromised draft.

Swapping to next year's draft is a great move.

Plus, it sends a message to those young players who can't get a game that we are serious about them and are not drafting because we think they will make it.

Oh, and we got a Rioli :banana:banana

Based on points and this season's ladder, we have the fourth-best draft hand next year, according to a spreadsheet on BF.

If that happens Jack, we get one of the most talented young players to come along in a while.

Adelaide and GWS both failed to make the eight after GF losses. Good chance Geelong are just as shattered.

Samson and Mate are 4.2m tall

maybe we are anticipating the AFL placing an average height limit on lists if there are further pandemics or climate change type catastrophes
Social planning or human engineering, that fits with their socialist ideals!

so how many list spots do we have left?

do we rookie someone (Isiah Winder? Jack Callow?)

or do we wait and see some of the victorian 2002 borns play VFL in 2021,

and mid season a couple?

probably the latter, going on last night's form.

Fingers crossed.
They're sent on a camp.
Junior players start fighting with senior players.
The coach losses the plot and they finish bottom 4.
Fingers crossed the spell continues.

**I would've preferred to off load pick 17 to Collingwood, they will be *smile* next year. Everyone is screwing everyone at that club.

The scariest list in development is the Sun's. Gee they are getting some kind of midfield together!!!

They will be home soon enough, relax.
Anderson will be at punt rd.
When Cripps leaves for WA, Carlton will go after Rowell, while Collingwood will offer 5 yrs at 800k to player like Ballard.

Have the Bombers injected their draftees into their team yet?

They're the only club currently that can choose a kid full of talent and destroy them by the time they turn 20. They would match us of the late 80's/early 90's when it comes to developing kids.

Can’t believe the sooking and lack of faith shown in Clarke an co . We now have our ruck stocks covered for sometime and we’ve added to our hand in a much stronger draft.
