Wasn't Sydney quarantining with family?
Yes, was "quarantining" with family in Northam ( in reality he was out and about around Northam) but had a row with his Grandmother and left for Perth and that's where it all went downhill. From what I hear he's now keeping his nose very clean and training the house down.

Looking forward to the return and (hopefully) the ultimate redemption of young Sydney
Fingers crossed it works for him and RFC as a bloke and a player

Spoke with a RFC director today.
No job lost but casual hours cut back and spread across the club to absorb the $100k.
He reckons AFL hates us because we destroyed their plans for an interstate club to win a G.F.
Said that normally the winning Premiership team gets $500k for winning but the AFL took 6 weeks to confirm they were actually going to pay us.
Hated and feared. Back where we belong.

I'm gonna sit here with the popcorn & wait for TBR's response to this wild, clearly unfounded hysterical allegation :)

Really want this kid to succeed more than anything.
Same here, all been well I’m not convinced he’s best 22 now anyway, great situation for the club. In a perfect world I think like to see Stack replace Baker at half back and Baker go into the midfield rotation

Baker go into the midfield rotation
Jack said in that infamous Good For Footy forum with Grimesy that Bakes is the best he's seen by foot since Sam Mitchell. ..... along with saying he's a much better bloke too! (Obviously not a fan!)

Maybe not from day 1 on return, but if you look at his first year's performance and then factor in natural improvement with more pre-seasons, understanding and maturity, and he'd be a first 22

I am a huge fan of Stack.
Believe he has super talent to burn and on talent alone is top 10.
Like Martin he can be the difference between winning and losing.
Of course there is much more to this game than individual talent alone.
I think if he can get two stable years from now behind him , we will have a champion.
That's why I seriously wrote at the time of his covid incarceration that the best thing RFC
could do for him at that time was immediately offer him another 2 years.
I dread to think of him in a WA team for the next 10 years.
