GAME DAY - Tiges v Blues

Tiges by 44 with late goal surge as Blues tire.
Could be on the money here, Tora.

Edwards said on the That's Good for Footy show that because a lot of players are doing the mindfulness relaxation just before the game, they are not expending a lot of energy in pumping themselves up.

I think this could be a contributing factor in why we run out games better. Most opponents get themselves frothing at the mouth and we just run out smiling :)

i think it'll be tougher than many poeple think. we never really seem to blow them away. But the longer quarters will suit us and we will probably score a lot of goals in red time.

After having the freedom to attend many games last season while my fellow PREnders were doing it tough in lockdown or through border closures I hope for all those attending live that the game is a cracker and that the Tigers put on an elite show.
Looking forward to seeing you go feral and give us a loud and strong rendition of Tigerland that we can hear at home. Go Tiges!

I hope your definition of "a cracker" includes a 100 point drubbing of Carlton :p

Big game tomorrow. Carlton will throw everything at us. We need to bring our pressure game.
Which is exactly what Shocking's new rule is designed to curtail, favouring the chip and pop teams like ,,, Moggies and Colonwood et al. Such a surprise.

Not sure I agree with Aarts ahead of Pickett. I feel we are one runner short down back.

so Aarts and Caddy for Pickett and Houli?

assume Marlion will be injury sub?

good side for rd1

its a long campaign Aces.

I'd have preferred to see IN: Ross, Aarts, Caddy, Chol

Out: Pickett, Houli, Cotchin, Reiwoldt

We normally play 7 backs, Caddy and Macca tend to go back to give a chop out when needed and forward to as seen in the AAMI game v Pies.
We need Aarts as another small forward because if one of Castagna or Rioli goes down we will be short. Bolton even though playing forward finds himself more in the midfield rotations.

What’s the thoughts behind that? I’ve never seen you take the opposition for granted Easy.

I just recon we have them covered, would like to see our important veterans play about half the H&A, and have the depth to cover them.

Im sure it will happen through the year.

A side with M.Pickett as 23rd man is pretty invincible IMHO.

*plus I want 9's for the flag :peepwall

I reckon 23rd man is out of two:

Marlion the most versatile can play half back, wing, mid.

Jack Ross has had a brilliant Pre-season though.
