I'm getting close to not giving a stuff about this season. Too many injuries. Players look tired. More messier than last. AFL f*cking us around. Let's just give the kids a run in the 1sts for experience and build for next season as the hunters. At least we can finally get this media off our backs.
Think you would find similar posts from a year ago.

Absolutely a good idea. No doubt we'll see an influx of refugees the world over. Dutton should get on the front foot and build a 15,000 Quarantine facility, with the latest surveillance, security etc, out in Kiwirrkurra to house the refugees once the need for quarantine is over.
Kiwirrkurra? While nice and central, I'm not sure the Kiwirrkurra Health Clinic wound be well equipped to deal with any Covid cases.

So if we play in Sydney forfeiting our home game, do we get compensated later in the year with a home game to make up for it ? Or is it just a case of bad luck & this is the times we are in ?

excluding dreamtime next week (where its unlikely crowds will be allowed if its here), the only other away game we have in Melbourne is Geelong... and i can’t see why this can’t be allowed.

If the lockdown is more than 7 days, and spills into the following weekend, then the silver lining could be that Dreamtime can take place in Darwin again.

With Richmond and Essendon both moving interstate, i would prefer this game be played in Sydney. If lockdown ends, but crowds are still banned in Melbourne, we might be allowed to travel to Sydney. I'd consider going. Rex still has cheap flights.

It would be quite easy to re-purpose quarantine facilities into say public housing once the pandemic is over. Thats the idiocy of not building them. They would not go to waste and it would be a source of jobs.
No public housing advocate would buy that concept. Going to relocate cabins from up the Hume and drop them in Fitzroy? Modern public housing resembles t surrounding neighbourhood in style if not size.

Obviously a state of the art medical facility with at minimum 1,000 bed capacity would need to be built as well.

"As Victoria prepares to enter a seven-day lockdown from this evening, our Round 11 clash vs Adelaide has been relocated to NSW and will now be played at GIANTS Stadium from 2:10pm (AEST) Sunday, May 30.

This is largely due to the inability of the Crows to fly in and out of Melbourne given South Australia's hardline stance on the Victorian border.

The players, coaches and support staff are expecting to be on the road for the next few weeks with the exact details of our Round 12 Dreamtime clash still yet to be determined.

We will endeavour to update all of you as more information comes to hand. Ticketing details for our Round 11 clash are still being worked through with eligible NSW access members to shortly receive communication from the Club regarding ticketing access.

In the meantime, to our fellow Victorian Tiger Army, please stay safe and look after your yourself, friends, and families. Together, we can continue to do the right thing and can hopefully be reunited at the 'G in the coming weeks.

Kind regards,

Richmond Membership Team"

I assume crowds are allowed. Will make the trip up from Canberra if so.

Hardly. We had more than 700 cases per day last year, and contact trying was pencil and paper. This will be much easier to beat.

700 new cases a day? That’s a lot.

But still only 2 weeks for the Indian variant, on average and unrestricted.

The main positive is the positive tests are all linked, so let’s hope that trend continues with tomorrow’s report.

If tomorrow’s cases are all linked, it would suggest the virus hasn’t been spreading undetected in unexpected locations for the past 2 weeks, so the lockdown won’t take a full 2 weeks to show up in the reported cases, and would only take about 5 days or so.

It’s doing my head in though, I might try and avoid reading about it for a few days

However, a large percentage of the population will refuse vaccination.

They believe ignorant influencers over educated experts and have been scared by the idiotic media.

Vaccination passports will be required.

We will never ever clear the virus from the human race , so vaccination and quarantine will be a permanent, repeat permanent arrangement.

Repeat vaccinations will be needed like we need for influenza.

Quarantine needed for overseas travellers to protect the 20% who refuse vaccination.
Oh my....................... it's incredulous how much Joe Public think like this :(

Q. Where and when do we 'need' influenza vaccinations (I've only it once - when my daughters guilted me)
Q. Do you understand the risk of COVID19 to under 50's without co-morbidities? (almost zero!)
Q. Do you understand that persons under the age of 30 are at higher risk of ICU/hospitilisation from the vaccine than COVID?
Q. Do you understand that none of the available COVID vaccines stop you catching COVID19 - or spreading it?

Vaccine can not be mandated unless the Federal Government institutes/applies the National Health and Safety Act - and they have no grounds / basis to do so (because if someone started to actually challenge the data - you'd be amazed how limp this virus is!).

Why hasn't a single journalist asked how many cases of Flu we've had this year (and how many deaths!!)

Domestic Vaccine Passports are in direct violation of the Constitution.

How about we accept that those at risk should be vaccinated (elderly, co morbidity etc)?

Give them the choice to do so ...... and then let this flu (corona virus) run it's course.

The rest is pure politics!

Hmmm.... I ignore your posts because you are confused by others postings, now mine included, and you are argumentative .
I am not going to bother replying to your statements... looks like you are an anti vax numpty.
Of course you are most welcome to your views but I don't have an inclination to tolerate them.
