Game Day Richmond v Adelaide

I’m not sure on that performance, good to get there with some grit.

positives were the signs from CJ, Boss and the fact that the Skip and Prestia got through and were moving well, Broady continued to be our most in form defender, Balta looked to regain touch .

Liked some parts of RCDs game along with a few errors , Chols ordinary efforts outshone his good for me, I can trust him when it matters , Aarts good or bad is now our best small forward.

im hoping this might spark the season, however I’m far from convinced that we have “it” atm

28 point win. Probably would have taken it before the game and certainly would have taken it at quarter time. But we really need to start stepping up to a proper 4 quarter game. We should have nailed these blokes ain the last quarter but again we took the foot off. Percentage will be important as we are in the pack so that was a bit disappointing. But the second and third quarters were really good.

That said the Crows won the spoon last year and are a genuine bottom 8 side this year. It wasn’t a win for the ages but still a win. But we will need to play a lot better to beat Essendon next week. They are in good form; young and enthusiastic. If I was a bookie framing a market purely on current form I would have Essendon favourite. From our last four we’ve had 2 wins against bottom 8 teams and 2 slapping from top 8 teams. We need to get on our bike.
True 2 slappings from top 8 teams, but remember we had most of our starting mids missing. That does make a difference.
Look at the influence that Cotch had today.

Great response after the first quarter. But really hope we don’t relax like we tend to do in these situations. We need to keep the foot to the floor and get a confidence and percentage boosting big win.
Hmmm, watched the game on a little delay today and was wondering WHO laid the Jinx on today. ;)

Yes but that form today won’t beat too many top 8 teams. Right now we are a team that beats bottom 8 teams but loses to top 8 teams (apart from Dogs game). We need a big lift in form.

how can a club have someone like jimmy Rowe?

short, fat, slow, ugly, cant kick, 5 goals behind, 16th on the ladder

does a monacle goal celebration like hes won the World Cup

a football club simply cannot move forward like that.
I'm so old I have NO idea what the "monocle goal celebration" even means ....

Yes but it’s a marathon and we ain’t yet at the 20k mark.

We just need to beat those below us on the ladder and we will do Ok - I am still a believer.

Positive bank 4 points and kids look good and second ruck how better do we look.

Last quarter a horrible start not good enough let them in.Got to keep opposition teams score 60 and under like previous years tighten that up.4 qtr effort.

Balta was enormous. Moved on to Tex in Q2 and kept him to 2 possessions in the last half and created attack. Poor old tex blew up trying to chase him.

I think we'll win ugly next week too,

and then start winning frighteningly.

Our players know and understand they have 8-10 massive games in their bodies in a calendar year, and the 5-10% left in reserve makes us look clunky.

Melbourne player have no concept of this.
