Yeah. He’d had 4 kicks and 14 fantasy points for the game just after half time when I said that. Text message must have got through...
Well you know what this means ............ you are now expected EVERY week to text whoever needs a nudge-along for their *smile* efforts .... we shall call you the Text-Whisperer.

I think of myself as pretty liberal-thinking for an old bassturd, but this is one thing I cannot get my head around in the least. I think we have Libba to blame for this latest trend in Tatts by the way.
I think there’s a trend now to get really bad tattoos on purpose - bit like mullet haircuts and such. Only problem being, of course, this is more permanent.

28 point win. Probably would have taken it before the game and certainly would have taken it at quarter time. But we really need to start stepping up to a proper 4 quarter game. We should have nailed these blokes ain the last quarter but again we took the foot off. Percentage will be important as we are in the pack so that was a bit disappointing. But the second and third quarters were really good.

That said the Crows won the spoon last year and are a genuine bottom 8 side this year. It wasn’t a win for the ages but still a win. But we will need to play a lot better to beat Essendon next week. They are in good form; young and enthusiastic. If I was a bookie framing a market purely on current form I would have Essendon favourite. From our last four we’ve had 2 wins against bottom 8 teams and 2 slapping from top 8 teams. We need to get on our bike.
Yeah, no doubt Riddles, as much as I hate to say it, the Bummers are showing something under the left tit and that win yesty was one that can get a team into a frame of mind that they can beat anyone on their day. We need to get the intensity back into our game and that swarm mentality around the ball, get on top early and score often should do the trick against them I believe.

Bachar is just that fraction slow now and it's cost us numerous times already.
Funny that. Markov is still very fast; a line-breaker. In GCS's best again last night ... and BEllis too.

Bachar has been an absolute champion but the end is always in sight when you reach that age, along with injury toll.

Clarko might’ve chopped him after the GF injury, like he did Lewis & Mitchell.

Yep, 100% time to see this happen, George needs some time off to get those leg tats in some sort of order anyway, looks like he lets his 3 yo niece or nephew draw all over him when he's visiting.
I think he’s got a do it yourself kit. There’s a scribble on Vlastuin’s leg that looks like it was a George special, too.
That’s about the limit of George’s attention span.
A stick man would be hours of concentration :D

Yes but I actually am glad our club is not so ruthless as that. Bachar is a treasure and should be able to go when he realises it's all going past him. Clarko plays favourites, I suspect on personal grounds (not wise to disagree or express any internal criticism I'd say) - he seems unable to see even now that Burgoyne is past it!

I accepted Ellis got too good an offer to stay, but thought we might have made greater effort to keep Markov after putting all that development in to just reach pay-off. He always had a future with that rare speed.

But spilt milk now. At least after today I think Hugo might make it as a HBF but long way to go yet.
