Footy media , love’m or hate’ m ?

Cornhead reckons Jack should make way for CCJ and be traded to another club ala Hodge. :rotfl2:rotfl2:rotfl2

Footy Crucified is nothing but tabloid garbage. Couldn't help but bring the Bolton/Rioli incident again.
First time i haven't watched it.
Its s really shhit show.
Full of degrading stories.

It should be called 'The Grim Reaper Footy show'

Why are the media sooooo shiittt scared to give to Collingwood and the shiitest game plan since Mark Neeld.
They mention how bad they play but stop there.
Who's the *smile* stick coaching them to play like that?
Who's the flog that has absolutely destroyed them?
Why isn't he to Blame for all the cap issues..He wanted Well's, Mayne and Beams.

I hate the idea of trading out the old champs like Hawthorn did, if it’s for a first rounder and the window is closed, fair enough, however window is still very open and why would you give your challengers a player ,in saying that imho Jack ain’t got a lot left in the tank .

I hope Jack has not much left in the tank like he did against the Crows. ;)

Hah hah hah Wilson reckons Bumwood might have a crack at Hardwick. Ffs. The bloke just signed a contract extension for a few years.

This is what makes her a really *smile* journo. Her entire career she’s thrown opinionated rubbish like that out there, trying to pass it off as a fact or possibility.

The most overrated media rep in the AFL. Constantly making rubbish up. Constantly.

I love how after ONE game the best ideas are to trade out your champion forward and relegate your no. 1 ruck. Genius.

Lloyd is usually better than that. Nank is only 26 and theoretically just getting to the prime years for ruckmen. Does anyone see Nank spending a lot of time forward in the Richmond setup?

They're all trying to outdo each other, and in doing so just get more and more outrageous/silly.

Sorry. I've got better things to do than watch this cr@p standard of TV show.

Cornes talking about football = Andre the Giant pretending to punch someone in the face.

It’s not real.
It’s scripted.
You’re being worked.

Assuming Jack does go in ‘22 I’m sure we can work a scenario where we keep all 3. Jack MAY get less games (on a lesser contract?), MAY have to play 3rd string.

Anyway, CJ has played the ONE good game so far, let’s see how it pans out for the remaining games this season.

The timing isn't right but I think the underlying philosophy of what he is saying is pretty sound.

If we let a 21 year old key forward, who has shown the potential to be a really good player go, to keep a 33 year old and a 28 year old with significant knee degradation, then it will be a huge list management blunder.

Ideally we will keep them all until the end for Riewoldt but if that's not possible then I'd agree we have to make a hard call on one of the established guys.
pretty sound?

Jack is taking a big pay cut. He's a legend of the club. We're not Hawthorn. We can fit them both in the cap.

Also who has significant knee degradation?

I know the point of this thread is to *smile* about how unfairly the media treats us, but Access All Areas (Barrett and Lloydy) has some very nice discussion of Adelaide Richmond game, Jack's mark, Zombie etc etc.
