I’m not one to find a positive in the footy media however , really like Hamish as a commentator , always seems composed and positive and is a rare not over talker
Reckon old mate Romping Wins is a plastic, private school prefect myself. The segment where he interviews the kids is more about him than the kids.

There was another one when they were kicking to the right (I think the 2nd quarter) where there was a blatant throw by Guelfi on the wing, followed by probably a HTB against Cotch. Guess which one Richo spoke about.
The Aarts one was a nailed on HTB and should have been given but it didn't hurt them.
The Grimes one by the letter of the law was not a free kick as he attempted to dispose of it without any prior. Mentioned this in the game day thread too, an example of the media not even knowing the rules. He didn't drop the ball, he dropped it towards his kick but the tackle forced him to miss the ball with the kick. Now maybe we all think that that type of thing should be HTB but by the letter of the law it was not.
Well yes, to a degree.
But he talks a lot of private school dribble at times, often about someone's grandmother or pet tortoise, that is just irrelevant to the game situation.
He is harmless but cringeworthy sometimes.
It really is pathetic how very very poor our Australian football commentators are. I wish we had someone who wIas articulate, knowledgeable , calm and relevant.

Funny you say that, I was listening via the phone , an NHL game the other month, 1 commentato, 1 special comments , incredible considering the size of the rink and the speed the game goes at , it was easy to know where the puck was. Agree the football commentators don’t paint a great picture of the game, definitely need some Richie Benaud education
It's great how every win is cast as a negative, and every loss is trouble. Last week it was the problem caused by CJ's form and we'd have to trade Jack. This week it's the players who'll be squeezed out by Bolton's salary demands. Last year he apparently wasn't good enough for the 22-under-22 side; now he's being touted as the best u23 player in the country. Robbo still banging on about the nightclub incident, the sorry drunkard.

Anthony Hudson the clear pick for leysy. Knows his craft and has the ability to elevate a key moment.
Can't stand Whateley's opinions, but his actual calling of games is OK and a good combo with Hudson.
Far above the Darcy, BT we get on TV
Nick Riewoldt comfortably best special comments. Speaks sense but what you expect from a Tasmanian. Taz, Leysy and Redford cases in point.
