And goes home every night to Megan Gale.
:clap1:clap1

Only pity is we didn't get him to 100 games; think he has 2 sons now. Fair chance they will either be big, tall and athletic so possibly make AFL types, or hunky models. (If the AFL part even did come true, surely Shaun would not let them go near Cartoon!)

Wow, didn't see that coming.

I believe all of of CJ Mabs and Jack trained yesterday and didn't notice any leave the track early?.

Probably comes in to combat a legitimate two ruck combo of Marshall and Ryder whilst still being able to retain our 2 tall set up no matter which way we move the magnets.

Still surprised with rain forecast.
Stunning turnaround for the coach especially given the 92% chance of rain.
We have had 3 or 4 small to medium who have consistently been below their best, (previously produced in premiership years).
Those performances seemingly are now to be considered their norm, which may mean fewer opportunities for those players and a reshaping of strategy away from chaos.
It is a yes from me.

Well let's hope it rains goals on our behalf.

I really like the prospect of Samson, a local boy from the NSW South Coast; comes from good stock. Samson is a Richmond man. He has heart in abundance.

okay, i would suggest that RFC know that either Chol or CCj are leaving end of year.

Possibly, but I think it’s more that we want to commit to the 3 talls up forward for when Lynch and Nankervis return.

I think Chol is gone based on the fact he’s an unrestricted free agent and he could get money we won’t be able to match. I think we’ll want to keep CJ more anyway, particularly with Riewoldt close to the end.

I hope his family can get down for it

Suspect Chol will be dropped
Or, maybe TBF, Chol needs a rest especially after combating the NicNat truck last game. But I think he's played well enough, all things considered, to keep 1st ruck until Nank is ready.

More likely we have decided to go with the three-headed-monster FL many of the top teams are rocking this season, as I've posted previously. Not getting enough out of the SFs any more.

Article on AFL site says DRioli is going back to VFL to try to become a HBF, while Pickett will be tried at HFF.

Don't think either of these will succeed.

Really surprsiing because although the lad has talent - competitive, brave, strong marking and kicking - he has a beanpole build at present. Could be easily brushed aside by hardened tall AFL backs, but 206cm height is always hard to stop getting hands on the ball I suppose. His agility might be a standout feature for his size.

But we are clearly experimenting with the three-headed-monster FL to match what other sides are winning with. Perhaps the view is that the SFs and chaos game has had its day. I thought it was really noticeable against Willy in the VFL, we ran more and harder, put in greater effort, more disposals, dominated at times only for Willy to play straightforward better mark/kick/set-shot/goal footy that still almost beat us.

Same with Geesook and Weagles last games: nearly all WCE's goals came from same above plus frees (as Dimma noted in his presser); hardly any from general play. I posted that our VFL game was like 'a fart in a bottle'; a lot of energy released, bouncing around for little real gain.

Can't see Chol being dropped He is needed in ruck with CJ up forward and Sampson 2nd ruck along with some time forward.

Imagine a forward line with Tom and CJ near goals, Jack roaming. Then you have Nank and Chol in the ruck.

Follow this up next year with Tom and CJ forward, Jack roaming with Ivan and Nank in ruck. Then when Jack retires Sampson takes his place with some switching around as to who roams further up the ground - CJ can do this, hopefully Tom can if his knee is better and Sampson can too. Imagine trying to line up on that forward line with MRJ, Aarts, Castagna, Pickett, Shai and Dusty rotating in and out of the forward line.

Let's get this going for 2021 and we're a chance.

Yeah, Sampson is a bit light for AFL, just expect him to put in and compete for his first game. A taste but not a permanent fixture until maybe 2022.

The 3 headed monster is something we need to seriously look at and the VFL game against Williamstown was revealing - a draw yet we had 62 inside 50s to their 46. We need to get a lot more efficient at scoring when inside 50.

Against Geelong I reckon we need to really be able to score more, limiting their forwards is possible but even then they are going to score a fair amount, we need to score more.

Re Chol, I had said much the same just before you, But both of us not knowing or thinking about VFL. Just saw they are playing Sandy again Sat. 2pm.

Who will ruck VFL unless Cholly comes out? If we are definitely debuting Samsun, can't see CCJ missing after last outing. Unless as Seven posted, it tells us who is not going to be around next year!?

I can no longer watch these videos. Everyone knows they’re being recorded and it’s just awkward at best. Every debutant at every club now has to have a “tell the parents” video.
You’ll struggle to watch my wife videos.
She videos the kids first poo, first bath, first day at school. Riveting stuff
