How many snakes in the rough did you see ? Youd have been in there a fair bit. You see the picture in the clubhouse of the past owner of the farm holding up absolutely massive tiger snakes with his kids ? Geeez.
I’m dining at Lost farm as we speak , I’ll head back an have a look on the way back to “Launy “

I think we all need to acknowledge Mr B's achievement in posting a photo the right way around.

Yes yes we do.

Bougle run is a beauty , 2 par 4s ( absolute bull *smile* my putt didn’t go in for eagle ) 12 par 3s from about 70 to 150 , greens a *smile* atm but it’s just opened , super fun course to open the weeks golf on

Yep, there's always a drama with Calamity Jane. Would be good if he was paired with Wild Bill Hickok tomorrow, I reckon they'd shoot the lights out.
Not the most respected man on tour apparently, the “ I thought Aussies are tough” has been mentioned a few times re him

I used to like Day. But he really has developed into an unlikeable golfer for some reason. I imagine his injuries are genuine, why have we all turned on him? Was it the pre-shot routine that started the dislike?

He's never really committed to the Aust tour he seemed to pick and choose when he would come. Perhaps that where it started? Like he's the least aussie aussie golfer on the US tour.

I was the same ,he’s a big whinger I’m told and pretty good at looking down on from where he came from . I believe a paper cut is an amputation in his eyes , I reckon we get a reasonable insight in those Taylormade promos on YouTube.
I go back him for tomorrow now :))

Why the hate for the J.Day ? He has a bit of an annoying Norman-esque personality but otherwise, he’s not that bad. Injuries are genuine. He can barely bend over to pick it out of the hole nowadays.

Note: very sloooow golfer. Takes an eternity.

Slooooowww golfers are like selfish drivers, should be removed from the course/road. Preferrably shot on sight.

One of the perks of tagging along with the Australian Cricket Team is coming into contact with all the interesting people who like cricket, one of whom is the Shark. He's good mates with Border and Warne and hosted a heap of us at his house after a win in the West Indies.

I know he comes across as a bit of an odd unit and I don't much care for his politics, but he is a great blokes to have a chat to and share a beer with. Just a genuine Aussie bloke, the sort you meet on any golf course around the country. He's not a huge AFL buff but is a Tigers man. Had a surreal moment sharing a beer with him and hearing his theories about what the Tigers needed to do to become a strong club again.
Good to hear. I have dreams of having 18 with him one day. He is still my all-time favourite sporting hero. He seemed so much better than any other Aust golfer when I was a kid. He made me want to play the game. And he is possibly the best loser ever in sport, he was subject to so many crazy miracle shot defeats. But he always fronted up, always praised the winner.
There is a great doco on him where he does wonde3r if he should have had a "coach" at some point, someone to give a bit of advice and help him with course management.

That 1989 Royal Troon BO when he birdied the first 6 (?) holes of the final round was scintilating. Remember staying up to watch it. Devastating that he lost that playoff. Calcaveccia should never have been in the playoff, he slammed dunk from an impossible position in his last round.

And good to hear he is a tigers man.

Wow, English and Hickock are on the 7th play off hole. Wild Bill can't hit a head shot, he keeps lipping out with a gut shot.

Was hoping Wild Bill would win. Gutsy effort from a guy with limited PGA Tour experience in the heat and spotlight of final round contention.

What is the acceptable comp round of golf time nowadays ? 4 hours used to be , I’ve always found morning players are closer to 3 hours then 4 and afternoon are closer to 4 :30 then 4 ?
