I am. If GC want a tall, we've got a top 20 pick who's now had 4 years in the system and shown ability as a forward relying on a B-grade midfield.

And if CJ's choosing to go to GC there's less go-home factor than with an untried 18 year old picked without consent.

I want CJ to stay, but if he goes then 3 and 22 for 7 and CJ is a minimum.
If CJ chooses the Suns, I'd be interested in offering CJ and Pick 15 for Hollands and Pick 19 or 22 (obviously 19 would be best for us but I'm unsure if they can trade it).

If Moore is gettable I'd rather we waited until next year when he's a FA. Collingwood would demand a huge amount for him being as they would certainly get a 1st round pick for him next year as a FA which could be pick 2.
No chance Moore leaves Collingwood. Dreaming

Another rubbish report has tigers getting Cerra for picks 7,15 with a mid 20s pick coming back to us.
My verdict is no flaming way ,that's Miles and Miles over.

Everyone says Cameron cost pussys 3 first rounds.
But it's just not true as when u do the points maths they paid pick 8,so Cerra to me I wouldn't give up even pick 15,I like trying to better him with that pick.
This is confusing me, they way I understand i was

Geelong gave up, 13,15 & 20 & 2021 4th so 67 total points 3305
Received back Cameron + 30 & 31 so 1235 points

Difference is 2070 so = so pick 4 with points left over

In summary

- We're not giving up pick 7 as we have a young gun midfielder in mind that we want with that pick. It's a midfield draft and we want to fix our midfield with this draft.

- We're going to try to bundle our later picks to move up the draft trying to get another high-ish pick.

- Still in the play with Cerra and he still hasn't nominated a club yet. It's 50/50. We're just not giving up pick 7 for him. We're willing to part with our Geelong pick #15 or a future first. Melbourne are no chance. T71 thinks Cerra will go to Carlton although they are in a state (no coach, off-field shambles). His mate though is still bullish.

- CCJ a lock to Gold Coast. We will get a reasonably high pick or a player in return. Not Ainsworth or Brodie so don't worry.

- Chol is a funny one. Players want him to stay. But we'll give him our blessing to go. Thinks Mabs to Essendon.

- Wallis still in play.

- Narkle 100% is coming. For one of our third rounders.

- No truth in the Tarrant & Rayner rumours.

- Heard nothing about Talia. If we wanted an old key defender we would've kept Astbury for one more year.

- Tom Green more likely next year.

- Wouldn't be surprised if Pickett ends up back in WA.

- Parker coming back after the WAFL finals and will be with us again next year.

- Caddy staying. Not being traded on.

Picks 26 28 40 44 need to be used on some zippy hard nosed half forwards. Kane Lambert types. We've lost our way a bit in this area. Melbourne have a good bunch in Harmes, Spargo, Sparrow, Pickett that apply pressure, and swoop on fwd line ground balls. This was our main point of difference.
We had a few but gave them away for peanuts H. Agree on this. Rachelle at 15 would be a dream.

I've heard this numerous times and if this was someone "in the know" then surely they would know what Astbury told the group, that he made up his mind last year and the club tried to get him to stay. It was Astbury's decision to leave not ours (I don't begrudge him that btw), but the below statement suggests it was our decision to move him on, which it wasn't. So essentially, if we wanted an old key defender, then we would try and keep Astbury for one more year - and we did, so that suggests that we DO want an old key defender.

I hope not. Not worth 1 of our 3rds IMO. I don't see what he provides that Ross, RCD, Dow and Martyn don't also provide. Just clogs the list of players blocking those guys getting a game even more.

That’s because he just blurts crap out and isn’t “in the know”. Like he keeps saying we,ll trade for Wallis and Footscray will do the right thing. Wallis is FA, can go where he likes, Footscray has no say and there’s no need to trade.

Just listened to that podcast and I tend to agree. Sounds like a billy bull shitter. Even things like "I wouldn't be surprised.........................". Anyone can say things like that, doesn't mean they are in the know.

Even things like packaging the picks up, well thats a no brainer.

In the end who really cares. They are Richmond Supporters. You can choose to believe them or not.

No use hanging crap on supporters giving it a go.

The more voices the better I say.

I don't mind, but he claims he has inside info. The way he talks, it suggests he doesn't and he's lying about inside info to make himself feel important.

The words he uses, suggests they are all his thoughts and not some info he has been given.

Again I say "Who Cares"

Maybe he does , Maybe he doesn't.

I would prefer to hear to different view points from all.

Hanging crap on other supporters getting out their and providing more information to all is a waste.

Again they are not asking for money and you dont have to believe or listen to them if you dont want.

You seem to have deliberately missed what I said. I have no problem with supporters saying what their personal thoughts are. If I did have an issue, then I wouldn't be on a BB like PRE.

Its trying to sound like he's in the know to elevate himself when clearly its his own thinking.

I am quite happy to post my thoughts on what we "could" do this year, but frankly they are just my thoughts and everyone here I think knows that. I don't claim to know that this is what we will do or won't do.

No problems with that. But how can we tell if he does know someone or not?

I wouldn't have a clue. He mentions that he does not have club inside knowledge but knowledge in the industry.

Either way it doesn't bother me or elevate him above others.
