Watched him the last 2 weeks in the SANFL and he’s too good for that level.

Has kicked 41 goals this season, the penny might have dropped.
The SaNFL was one of the best leagues behind the AFL 20 years ago.
I would say quite comfortably it would be VAFA div 1 quality now
AFL
VFL
TAC
WAFL/SANFL

That still makes it one of the best. SANFL would have been clear second. Used to tune in the week after VFL Gf for SANFL GF.

It can't be when players like Gibbs, Menzel, McBean and Stengle are there stars.

So Neville Roberts has retired?
SA would produce classy skilful players. But they all had one weakness they were Cats
McGuiness, Anderson, Sporn, Liptak, Fiora.
WA produced the aggressive / strong footballers Worsfold Wlison Lewis Brennan Waterman
VICs produced the all round footballer not scared, Good kicks well balanced Knights Hird Brereton
If it came to 2 and it was between a Vic and another state. I would always choose the kid from Vic
