And the AFL have lost their feed. How predictable. Junior football system with the AFL is absolute amateur hour.
I have no idea why Fox/7 don't pick up these games, chuck them on 7mate. Seriously amateur hour for this day & age.

Pretty poor really. I was keen to watch this based on what is posted on PRE but there was minimal commentary and I don't know who's who. Looks like I'll continue to rely on the observations of you guys.

How’s Milera’s body gonna hold up at senior AFL level ? Can he put 10 kgs on ?
Does he need to? Stephen Hill wasn't huge.
Johnson BOG.
Was good, and still does very little for me. Just, meh.

JVR was sound down back without being spectacular then goes forward and jags the winner. Something about him.

Footballer.

We don’t need a Stephen Hill. We’ve got bigger needs than any more slight bodied outside players. And Hill was much quicker than Milera is anyway.

It’s your Prestia, Cotchin, Dusty, Riewoldt Grimes, Rance types that set you up. Not your Stephen Hills.

I didn’t watch the game. Would you pull the trigger at 15 if he is still there?

How many NVM types playing tonight? Heaps, can’t have enough elite kicks or decision makers.

He’s got some nice attributes but right now we are last for clearances in the AFL, second last for contested possessions, bottom half for forward efficiency with not much on the horizon with our on ballers, a proppy Lynch and a last year for Riewoldt.

Personally, genuine mids and key position players before skinny lightweight wingers with a nice jink or two and 12-14 possessions.

Tonight’s game ? !! The Dogs and Demons are number 1 and 2 respectively for contested possessions. And 1 and 5 for clearances. Are you watching this game ?

Did you notice who won the ball and gave it to JVR for the winner?

I’ve wanted mids for years, I‘m the last one you need to be lecturing.

I want mid or forward first but if you want to improve forward efficiency in the side next year while going for a flag get good decision makers and elite kicks at 15 and after.

Well why are you going on about a skinny winger then ? He’s not gonna get enough of it to improve that efficiency without an engine room first. We desperately need multiple quality and genuine on ballers and key position players.

Im yet to watch the 2nd half but what I saw of JVR was enough to back up what I've seen previously.
I might be alone here but I really do think this draft might be super even.
Exposed form is one thing but when the draft comes along there will be names that no ones talked about being put forth.
FWIW I dont think Daicos is a standout footballer, accumulator yes but is he the real deal?
Very even bunch but that could be due to lack of exposure aswell.

Some on here seem to think we’ll pick a young mid that will come in next year and make an immediate impact.
Highly unlikely at a our pick. Probably only 2-4 players in the whole pool can do that.
That’s why I’m big on selecting KP players and giving them time to develop.
Next year we steal a Taranto when he comes out of contract.
And we get our best centre clearance player back.
D Martin
We had heaps of injuries and were mentally cooked.
Not sure we can’t win it next year with a little luck on the injury front. A junior this draft won’t make a difference anyway

Very few draftees ever make an immediate or huge impact in their first year or two. Kpf …mid…defender. Whatever. Think we all know that.
