Quite possibly AT. Especially if we could get StKilda’s 9 (11). That might get us a Johnson-Rachele result which would be off the charts outstanding.

I just (edited) added some extra info to my post re Johnsons combine results.

I just got excited even reading a combo like this Johnson-Rachele

I would be stoked with that result, what happens after just a bonus.

While I like that idea we need to get a few talls in to.
pick 9 - Matthew Johnson
pick 11 - Josh Rachele (Richmond trades pick 17 & 28)
pick 29 - mid slider
pick 30 - Charlie Dean (a slight reach but ok for us)

DFA - Jake Schlensog

But would you not also be stoked with a Johnson/Goater result with 7 & 15

The 2 x 190+ cm mids with athletic traits to these 2 boys would be adding another dimension to our midfield in 2-3 years time
Im not a huge fan of trading up to StKilda pick as im thinking it will wipe out all 3 of our later picks where we re going to be surprise at just how much talent is still available.

The 2 brisbane selections are what looks really appealing when combined with the picks richmond currently hold
7,14,15,18 would be a great hand but not sure our 2022 1st rounder would convince the lions to part with the 2 picks

Goater would be great, you could even slot him in at pick 11.

Sub 3 sec. sprint for Johnson, with his elite agility surely he's top 10.
Yeah, he's definitely around that mark and I suspect the latest he goes is West Coast's pick (12 after bids). Just saying that we never got to see him matched up with Callaghan or Daicos or Hobbs or Ward.

A lot of question marks answered around athletic traits, still the risk of not seeing him against the elite. I was never blown away by any one clip or passage of Johnson. The vanilla question can't be answered. His size and athletic traits coupled with the fact he makes the game pretty easy at times make the risk worth taking. I'm starting to think he will be our pick.
