I have seen the Boak comparison a few times im not sure he has that level of development in him, Boak ran 2.95 20mtr at his combine and Hobbs wouldnt have that pace or outside game and if the reports of his 20mtr time are correct 3.16 that is slower than Caddy at the same age. I like his game but agility and speed i have question marks

Does anyone know the last time his height and weight were adjusted?
Just wondering if these are current heights or start of the year. If start of the year, its feasible that he could have grown to 185/186 and thats a bit of a game changer, moving towards that tall midfielder height accompanied with the endurance and contested work.
His agility is fine, his breakaway speed from a contest is fine, his straight-line speed ok isn't super fast, but I have never thought he is slow.
I'm pretty sure that time of 3.16 was a 2020 time, Redford can confirm that but no doubt he would've improved on that time.

Spot on that you did. Most of us had him just outside the top 10 (11-15), do you think he will now be taken inside the top 10. Who's likely to pull the trigger.

Dunno AT. Don’t think anyone does. This whole Sinn thing grew legs largely off BF. Hardly reputable. Me, he looks about that 15-20 range but again, who the hell knows. If he went earlier ie 9 to 15 then Brisbane maybe a possibility ? Saints if they do some wheeling and dealing ? But otherwise, don’t really see anyone else in the frame and hence why it’d be a tad strange I’d have thought to be using a pick 7 (9) on him.

Ceiling is certainly higher, but with where our list is at, I'd think we would go with the safer pick of a player that will play 150+ games, and I think that will be Hobbs at our pick.
Thoughts on these 2 kids liking the look of them. Long a 195 cm tall midfielder.

Agree this came up out of the blue, nonetheless, I wouldn't be using pick 7 (9), on him. If he was there at our 2nd (first round) pick sure, he seems to be always injured.

Resembling the Joshua Tree this group is a blend of upside and relatively solid floors, don't think there will be any outright busts amongst this group. Many will be surprised by how high Johnson is but that's just emblematic of how high is upside is in comparison to the others.

This group has A grade upside but might come with a lingering doubt or two. Many will be surprised by Erasmus being pegged so low but I wouldn't be risking him in the top ten given he's not quite an accomplished mid. There is enormous potential but with his kicking more B class I think there's some chance he lands in no mans world as a flanker without the kicking smarts of the best rebounders in the competition. I have Howes ranked higher than most but I've factored in plenty of upside and feel he could become an extremely damaging wingman/half forward. Very impressed with his overhead marking and work below the knees.

Such a mix here, most need plenty of development time with the exception of Roberts who can be a little one paced. I read an article about Roberts having a similar impact to Dunstan. I think that says it all really, there's a number of guys like Dunstan & Brodie who could fill this void. Yet to be convinced that Roberts can eclipse the output of Constable & Hately, that is effectively why he ranks so low.

Not seeing many concerns those things can be ironed out kid backs himself good sign doesn't go in his shell.
On another matter, I asked C.Twomey the other week if he’d heard anything about us and being interested in Matt Johnson. He said strangely enough, no. Very quiet on that front. You could look at that two ways - a) no interest or b) large interest and just trying to stay low key with it. We do that often.
That's been said by Cal by memory but I'm not so sure we will pull the trigger on him at pick 7 (9). I still think he goes outside the top 10, now if we were able to snare Hobbs at 9 and Sinn at 17 wow! But perhaps unlikely to make it our 2nd first-rounder.
