SHocking has just sent an email to the AFL to introduce the Stand rule in AFLW after this game....

The Seymour/Kelly ruck combo is a winner. Kelly’s tap work is all class.
Conti is to the women’s team what Martin is to the men’s. Clear BOG.
Sarah Darcy played well. Courtney Wakefield another great game. Both Hoskings hard at it. Backline did well against some solid forwards. Much more pace without Molan and Frederick.
There was a lot to like about that performance. Still some cobwebs to blow out, but for a first hit out that was good.

I really liked some handball chains in the middle and lowering of the eyes going inside 50 (moreso in the first half). Some system rather than just hacking it forward as in the past.
Just love Courtney Wakefield. As said previously, sooo underrated - and smart. Skipper looks fit and confident, Conti is an absolute superstar and I love our pressure and fast handball game. Playing to our strengths. Growing as a team. Still see some clangers but much improved.
MonCon is a star.

If u compare aflw from game 1 till now,it's upward trajectory is fantastic.
