And I was foolish enough to complain about how badly we've been going the last few weeks. Thank you Pordadalayde for refocusing my perspective.

Doing it at a good time too. Brisbane is their only competition, Port gawn, Tiges on the decline, Cats too old, and Dogs backline too flakey.
Blues might just make sure of it next week. I’m sure Vossy will be keen to knock them off.

I have to say two players for the demons make me ill for continually ducking, looking for a high tackle, They need to be called out.

Lot of ducking into tackles in that game to be honest. Not to mention flopping forward when tackled.

As for the Melbourne free on half time, give me a break. How about actually allowing forwards to go for the ball, the ball had not been kicked and the Port forwards are getting grabbed and pushed and have absolutely no chance to contest.
Melbourne are very good, they just seem to have numbers everywhere. Kicking a high pass is a recipe for disaster against Melbourne because you simply can't give them the time to get to the contest. The way they protect space even with the silly stand rule is impressive. Every other team must be looking at this but how to get around them and how to cover space in the same way looks very difficult.
