Moorabbin this morning after a loss to an out form Port Weasels. Its a pity Higgins Carey was absent after half time.
I actually agree with this. The competition isn’t there this year. If we can get it right and get our key players playing together… with our star power - we are a legitimate chance.
The raft of *smile* male commentators around belies that statement.

I still don’t think we can get anywhere near it, but Melbourne have won the jackpot by putting it altogether when the competition is about as weak as I can ever remember.
Looks like a fair hip and shoulder - no head high contact - when shepperding within a few metres of the ball carrier is also a free kick now.

I was also having nightmares about a disasterous match we played up in Darwin in tropical conditions..... a young Robbie Gray ran amok!
