I’m actually starting to wonder if the media bias is now working against the Liberals. Anyone with half a brain can see the Murdoch Media, The Costello Media and the ABC are barracking for a Liberal election Victory. You only need to look to twitter to see the reaction to the Frydenberg puff pieces. Anything posted by the likes of Patricia Karvelas and Michael Rowland is getting a huge reaction. Leigh sales quit twitter as she was unable to handle the accusations of bias.

The rebellion is on IMO.

I'm not on Twitter so don't know about reactions there, but I would have thought that Karvelas and Rowland are the more balanced journos on the ABC.
As for Fran Kelly, Joe O'Brien, David Spears etc - well, they must be really copping it

The fact that Michael Rowland is balanced is exactly why he is copping it on Twitter.
I’m not sure the LNP will think the ABC is on their side after Four Corners is finished with them and Hunt tonight.
Meanwhile this is the length to which the Murdoch press will go

The Prime Minister’s Office must have been too busy to do the backgrounding on Ryan themselves, so got their PR dept to do it

Boomer of a blog article about the state of the media as shown in the election campaign. Its about the media as a whole more than just Murdoch:

its a good article. we were only talking this morning about such matters, and how the older journos must be cringing about the state of reporting...
i think the Herald Sun ran a story today about how Morrisons raw chicken dinner 'wasn't raw' .. ffs ...

I find Rowland to be fair and balanced.

This is who Greg Hunt thinks Rowland's leanings are to.

If Albo gets in, he owes it to the country to do something about the media. We need a Royal Commission.

His interview with Monique Ryan yesterday was a shocker. Plus 3 weeks later he said one more gaffe for Albo will end the election but has said nothing about Scummo's continual lying, and he posted this on twitter:

Not sure what is wrong with that? It’s just saying what he said.
Michael Rowland posts plenty of stuff negative to the LNP on twitter

You don't see that there's something wrong with uncritically reposting Murdoch front page LNP propaganda as if its genuine news? I don't necessarily think he's consciously biased but he does have a similar problem to many in the mainstream media of simply repeating talking points from sources without looking at them through a critical lens at all. The worst at the ABC focus only on LNP talking points (Greg Jennett, Jane Norman).

No I don’t.
He is doing nothing more than posting that there was an interview with Frydenberg and what he said.
Its not meant to be critical or not, simply a reposting of the content of the interview.

Something that the Murdochists might want to read with an open mind. This isn't about opinion, it's about a foreign company actively working to influence our elections.

I saw the saturday papers for the first time in years. A friend has to read them for his job and gets them delivered, all of them, I visited him and they were in his drive and I took them all in. The Murdoch papers, the Aus and the Courier Mail, both front page headlines saying we can't risk Albo/ Labor. Amazing. Totally removed from reality. Ugly.

I find this 'don't risk change, stick with what you know' line incredible and depressing. What we know is that this government has been corrupt and incompetent. By any measure or rational analysis. Why would anyone who isn't very rich or mentally defective want to stick with that? Where is the risk in changing? Albo could be woefully bad and still be better than Morrisson.
