*We have an extra 3 tormentors playing against us every week. (We lost the game against Adelaide on the back of the umpires. As soon as Baker put us in front the next 6 free kicks all went all to Adelaide.
*The TV media are the first to right us off when we lose, but when we win, they push it back to a non story. Imagine if Collingwood had beaten us. McCrae wouldve been front page. But Degoey wouldve been worth 7mill and Penderbury should consider playing for another 14 yrs.
*The printed media Hearld Sun. Is the biggest Richmond hater out there.
We win a game it's half page news, mostly about how the opposition lost the game.
We lose the game, double page, maybe even front page news. Our Dynasty might be over. I'm pretty sure the Melbourne premiership coach was another coach that left his wife over the last summer, but Hardwick must have bigger balls because his separation is front page news while Goodwin isn't even mentioned.

I actually watched this unfold after the game. It was embarrassing- Jones strode towards him like a groupie chasing her crush and whilst Dusty probably saw her coming he never waved her away. He was simply walking in the other direction to shake hands with the Lollingwood players. She then had a hissy fit thinking she was being ignored and went up to Cotchin and asked him to get him. Cotch didn’t help but then she settled on interviewing him. Self entitled Essendrugs mole obviously put in a compliant afterwards. Probably not used to getting a knock back lol

Of all the duplicitous, cynical and semi-conscious things he says in that article, the part that annoys me the most it the suggestion that Martin could have fronted up for a couple of "Dorothy Dixers. Like, what was it like to be back? Any message for the fans?"

Who does that serve? What would be the benefit? What great insight will you get from him saying "Yep, good." "Cheers"?

His message to the fans was there from the first don't argue. You could see what it was like for him to be back when he was mobbed by teammates. Meanwhile, it opens him up to horrible and awkward questions likely to be asked like "Would your Dad be happy... etc."

There's no benefit to answering inane fox footy questions. And there's possible harm in questions that aren't inane.

Robbo should have said what he was actually thinking. "I wish we coulda got Dusty to cry on live TV for the internet points".

The Media have written about us so much there is no more stories to write, thats why they want us out of the picture. They want new stories to write, about Diverfields Premiership dream, Bombers drought, Colliwobbles turning it around. Foxtel had a heap of Bomber crap over summer, where was the Tiger stuff, the greatest Team in the current era, nothing... Fook the AFL, Foxtel, the Media.

Hey blobbo.. Dusty doesn’t owe YOUR employer anything. Foxfooty paid for the rights to show games of football. Dusty put on a game for YOUR employer. He isn’t obligated to do anything more for you. He is employed by the Richmond Football Club. They pay him big money because that’s what they think he is worth. He has proved over the past 5 years that he is worth whatever they have paid him. The RFC has benefited many times over from their investment. They understood why he needed time away and respected his decision. Why don’t you? While it would be nice for his fans, supporters and members to hear from him, he is under no obligation to talk to us. He owes us nothing. The majority of us respect that. We are satisfied with him doing his talking on the field over 4 quarters on the weekend. You also have a very short selective memory. I still have saved on my Foxtel box, “Nick & Dusty- One on One”. He had no problem talking to your network about footy. You want him to talk about his private life which is for him to decide whether he wants to talk about. How about respecting his wishes and not whine like a stuck pig when you don’t get your way. You might say they would have been innocuous Dorothy Dixer questions about whether it was good to be back but we all know that reporters usually try and get more.
While he doesn’t owe YOUR employer anything, you however do. I’m sure they appreciate you turning up for work seemingly pissed most times or leading such an unhealthy lifestyle that placed you in the situation where you were hospitalised and off work for a lengthy period of time.
