Jack Riewoldt [Merged]

IMHO Jack should play on for 1 more year
Balta forward looks like a fail as he’s not a natural forward and has NFI how to make play
Jack has done enough this year and as we’re very short of smart tall forwards he deserves to continue

Cooked as a serious dangerous forward, but his smarts are hard to find.

Love him and hopefully he goes one more.

kicked his 750th goal today. has gone past N Riewoldt, W Carey, P Hudson, S Kernahan, B Hall and Sav Rocca this season to be 14th on the all-time goalkicking list.

Been steadily working into form and that usually means getting less bad.

How's his effort? Return on that? Discipline?

Upward trends and now some results.

Leadership. Bravo, Jack.

Particularly with Cumberland finding his feet at AFL level so quickly plus Martin and Bolton spending time in the forward line you would think he would get more one on one contests.

What a way to kick 750!
Rip it out of Lynch’s hands as he lays on the ground after getting a free

I hope he goes again.
Still contributing.

And now he's seen Kennedy off.
1 down, 1 to go.

Porkins has already said he's playing next year.
He's catching Jack at an astronomical rate.
Start of the year Jack was 715 Goals. The Shover 665. Jack +50

To date Jack 750, Tom A Hack 716. Jack +34
And because the flog is made out of concrete he never gets injured.
I wish he would cop 2 or 3 hammies.
Each going for 3-4 weeks.
(No serious injuries. Wouldn't wish that on anyone, even The Pusher!)
Would love Jack to have a day out against someone and claw some goals back.

I reckon if Jack played all of next year then retired say 10/20 Goals in front, Hawka Hack would play on into 2024 just to top him.
Reckon it's just something Salty would want.
Especially if they bomb out this year.

Don't mind Jackmond stealing the odd chip off our Tommy Gun (very funny clip Roar E:clap1) as long as it keeps him ahead of bad Tom.

Reckon Jack has given away 70-odd goals since we became an unselfish team.

Play on Jack. If the desire is like Trent then go for it in 2023 Jack. As shown we cant get a full season out of both Jack and Tom. With Cumberland playing that smaller 3 tall/forward. A solid pre season from Jacob Bauer, we should look at at least 1 forward KPP in the draft, IMO Jack playing is a good thing. Is close to a player/coach as we have seen in recent times.

Play on Jack, we know there will be some quite games in 2023 but your contribution is still valuable.

Look, a lot of this makes sense.

It’s not just about his output, though, it’s also the lost pressure acts, the lost speed, and the general cost to the team.

If the AFL meta is for forward pressure in 2023, then playing Jack becomes an issue.

Jack has to play on.

The next best key forward we have after him is Castagna
