List sizes for 2022 are set at 36 to 38 primary listed players, four to six Category A rookies and up to two Category B rookies, with a maximum of 44 players
The minimum list size sits at 37, which requires at least 36 senior listed players.
 
most likely RCD Martyn and Aarts will join Caddy, Lambert, Parker and Edwards. RCD maybe rookied

Yes I get that, but we had a full list running into the season. We could only take Bauer because Caddy retired therefore he took his spot on the lost. How the rebalance between rookies and senior list spots occurs (whether that is within season or at the end) is not something we see and is also irrelevant. Bauer replaced Caddy on our list which is what the original statement was, that we were still able to replace Caddy which I said we had already done.

Only allowed 44 if 2 of them are Cat B rookies (which he isn't). Max list size of senior listed players is 42, either 36 primary listed and 6 Cat A rookies, 37 and 5 or 38 and 4.

We started with 42 (max list size - primary list and Cat A rookies) + 1 Cat B rookie to make 43.

We had to lose 1 of our 42 to open the spot from Bauer keeping us at the max size of 42 + Colina as our Cat B rookie.

we are definitely @ 44 inc 7 Rookies + Colina

Obviously this includes Parker, Lambo & Caddy
 
We are gradually getting the important ones signed up for our future and more to come as our salary cap has some space with at least Edwards, Lambert and Caddy retiring

I'm seriously not sure why this is so hard for everyone to get.

Maximum list size for us is 42 PLUS upto 2 Cat B rookies of which we have 1.

Caddy was moved to the inactive list when he retired which made a position available (ie. we dropped to 41 + 1 Cat B) and then we recruited Bauer to take us back upto the 42 + 1 Cat B rookie.

I'm not sure why we are still talking about this 2-3 pages later!!

OMG I think we are saying the same thing, but Caddy is INACTIVE on our list which is why we could pick up Bauer.

Yes if you include Caddy we are at 44, thats 43 primary listed plus Cat A rookies (plus Mate as out Cat B rookie), which we aren't allowed to do, hence why Caddy is inactive and essentially not on our current list.

Parker and Lambert left after the MSD so there was no need to make them inactive as we couldn't replace them anyway but we could with Caddy.

I've been saying the same thing consistently, which yes if you include Caddy it makes 44 BUT HE ISN'T ON OUR ACTIVE LIST ANYMORE.

Anyway, this convo all started as someone was saying we still needed to replace Caddy, which we have already done.

Haha I think so.

On to more pressing issues, how many more are we likely to lose, obviously Parker, Lambert and Edwards open up 3 spots. I wonder how many more go. I probably wouldn't expect much more than Martyn, Aarts and maybe RCD.

I think you are probably right. Our lack of draft picks this year will probably ensure that he gets a 1 year extension (possibly as a rookie). I reckon he will get a contract offer pretty late in the piece though, possibly after trade period.
 
I made a paper team and omitted every player older than Mcintosh (anyone 30 or older next season

I’m thinking another really good quality tall is a critical priority.
