Soldo should be given another year for sure and for those Short naysayers he should be retained as well.More upside than downside with him.

So if we were going to trade soldo for a pick, what's he worth? Pick 40 - 50?

Ruckmen seem to hold their value reasonably well, at a guess I would of thought in the 25 - 35 range.

I'm happy to keep him. My issue with him is he wins the ruck but doesn't tap it to our advantage most of the time.

Pick 19 for Coleman Jones and he wasn’t contracted ??
It wasn’t as simple as that.

North Melbourne handed over a future-second round pick, pick No.40 this year and veteran Tarrant in exchange for Coleman-Jones, picks No.42, 47 and a future-fourth round pick.

Plus you have failed to acknowledge its North. They are stuffed..

It seems that the rest of the comp has cottoned on to our list having a few cloggers on it with any of our fringe players being mentioned.

A dual premiership player in Graham is barely respected during discussions whilst other clubs lesser achievers are attracting talk of late 1sts and seconds but a pick after 30 even pushing up near 40 after academy gifts and the like is fine for a dual Premiership Player Graham approaching his peak career maturity.

Soldo is the only other, Ryan got a few mentions early but that went quiet because the RFC obviously said GAGF when it came to Sambo.

Other Clubs seemingly aren't wasting Draft or Trade capital on the likes of Castagna, Aarts, Martyn, Nyuon, RCD, Dow and even others such as Mansell.

Tigers need to cut their list deeper and move 2 or 3 more of this lot on.

Preuss went for pick 31, plenty of other examples as well.

That’s the danger in trading away multiple first round picks isn’t it. You start padding out the list with maybes and project players and never have the capital to delist the bottom 5 and replace them with quality. Particularly in a year of multiple retirements. It’s a real gamble. Hawthorn got it very wrong. Geelong seem to keep getting it right.

Nah lets keep who we have got at punt Road. Everyone besides Castagna & Aarts have not yet developed so keep them in the family. Aarts I would move on but Castagna keep him. Just luv George as he just aint your stereotype player.

If Soldo goes, we need to get plenty into Colina over pre season and potentially rookie another mature ruck for back up.

Nank- no guarantees of getting through 22 games

Ryan - developing well but coming off one of the worst debuts imaginable

Miller - looks good in the ruck but not a number one ruckman

Colina - plays footy like a half court basketballer

We have options but none you would look at and say yep we can rely on that bloke

IMO they have now realised what we always knew. The guys other Clubs were targetting were never going to be their answer, they were good role players in our side & needed our system to flourish.

Geez Sampilands debut was 15 months ago.

Would have thought irrrelevant now considering how much the great man has developed.

I am thinking the PRE audience will take a bit of time to come to the realisation how great Samson will be.

No back up to Nank makes me very nervous. I assume we will have to trade in a cheapie or look for a mature ager
