Welcome to Tigers: Jason Castagna

It was supposed to be last month, George was still doodling cartoons with his tattoo gun. They had to reschedule twice, have a standin on standby. He finally made it, did 4 running circuits of the church, tackled the minister, herded the bridesmaids, fell into the baptism font, tattooed 3 cartoons on himself and finally presented himself when he ran out of ink.
Dont ask what happened to the wedding cake…
Harsh, but fair.

For a bloke that turned our fortune's around in 2017, the shiit he he cops from his own is a disgrace.
He had a poor season but he wasn't the only one. Grimes was worse.
Balta? Edwards? Nakas??
He will be back to his pressure best next year.

He has strengths. He "plays tall". He is a very good mark which can put pressure on opposition defenders to keep them from dropping off to double team Lynch and Jack. He is a very good link player. Other smalls are better when he is involved in a chain of handballs.

Zips, he is a very, very good, bad footballer. His disposal is flakey, he panics often under pressure.
If it weren't for his amazing endurance and almost psychotic commitment to defensive pressure, he wouldn't even be in the league. He is one of the most amazing and dynamic role players ever. But he's a horrible footballer. I've come to terms that he's going to turn the ball over horribly, fumble or put the ball in the worst spot Imaginable for a team mate, but that he'll be the cornerstone of our defensive pressure game up forward.
When the second part of that equation stops being relevant, he'll have to go.

If he gets a game in the seniors next year, we’re either having a lot of injuries or we’re travelling really badly and playing for draft picks.
Harsh reality. We've now got better players
